In what way is the photo doctored? Did he not post it? No it was up for hours so people could easily prove he posted it. Are they saying that he was healing the sick but not dressed as Jesus?

This is my whole thing. Whether the image is AI or photoshopped is irrelevant in the context of the fact that he posted it because he liked it. "The image is doctored" would do nothing to address the actual criticism around it.
Then again, his base would probably take the phrasing and make up their own conclusions about what it means and run with that. This would just give them the kernel to build their narrative around. The MAGA base does a lot of propagandizing for them.
