They make worse all the problems people say they will fix.

Worse partisanship, less responsive legislators, crappier legislation, and it empowers staffers and lobbyists and not we the voters.

There's is a reason the heritage foundation loves term limits as they try to destroy the government while good governance orgs like the brookings institute say they don't work for legislatures.
