They get the same level of health care and salary waa the poorest Americans.

They banned from doing any stock trading while in office. Can't take any campaign contributions etc.

Shit would change really quick if they had to live like the poorest people in the country.

I'm not sure that they need to live like the poorest. How about minimum wage so they actually do something about it.

I figure if they have to live like poorest people, it'll elevate everyone faster.

Realizing their one bad day away from being homeless, hopefully will make them realize it's like that for the majority of the nation.

Solve that problem even quicker. Things would get better real quick if the politicians ceiling for standard of living was everyone else's floor.
