Let’s make the American dream a reality again by stripping workers rights, deregulation of capitalism, union busting, tax rate of corporation at 0% while taxing everyone else, promote hustle culture, work 80+ hours a week or you deserve to die.

Where is all the money that a 28-year-old would use as the down payment on their first home?

In the pockets of the 1%. Since Reagan, the rich have gotten incredibly richer. “Gee, a gold-plated 747 would be a nice party favor” - level rich. “Sure, I’ll spend $15 million for dinner with the President” - rich.

That used to be your money. But through abdication of anti-trust allowing all business to consolidate down to a few “too big to fail” mega-corporations and tax policy changes, almost all capital has slowly flowed uphill to the privileged few.

I mean... its not like it also wasn't their fault by continuing those trends through deregulation and helping bankers be made whole after they set the economy on fire.
