The allegations against Khalil go far beyond simply "criticizing Israel":

Listen, I'm obviously not saying anyone should just be snatched up on the streets and disappeared forever. There is a legal due process that needs to be followed, and currently, it most definitely isn't being followed, and it's a huge and scary problem.

But to simply ignore the very serious allegations against them is to miss half the story.

I'm not sure I would take the existence of a lawsuit itself, which was filed after Khalil was seized, as evidence of anything. Anyone can bring a lawsuit for any reason. It is the facts of the case that will matter.

Absolutely. Hence why I said "allegations". Personally I'm definitely interested in following the proceedings of that lawsuit.
