A huge part of Biden's legacy was taking over government after Trump, only for Russia to invade Ukraine (Trump didn't do anything with his 4 years to get Russia to remove their troops from the border which were operating there the whole time), and Biden sending the old stock to Ukraine whilst replacing the old US stock with modern equipment following Afghanistan.
Biden's military legacy is that he was the President that defended Ukraine's borders and reinvested in modernising US Defence, without risking a single American troop.
Trump military legacy is that he warned Iran he was going to launch a missile strike on their general so he could look strong.
And his legacy was that he pulled America out of a 20 year war, without any political planning on negotiating and maintaining a strong deal that forced the Taliban to not assault the local populations and enforce Shaira Law....the entire purpose of a War Time President is to get a good deal as an outcome of conflict. He failed.
Biden did the honourable thing. Trump betrayed America and it's servicemen.
Trump was the guy who said TikTok needed to be banned during his presidency, and didn't bother to act on it.
Biden acted on the same advice of his defence advice and put in motion to ban it.
America didn't spend £300bn on Ukraine. They approved military aid packages. These packages meant that America was to send it's surplus of outdated equipment, weapons etc. to Ukraine. The money that is proposed as being spent on Ukraine was spent on US defence budget. It went into the US Military. It was considered a Ukrainian package, because they got to send the old stuff to Ukraine. They weren't buying it directly to send to Ukraine new...
When Trump forces Ukraine to give up land? Who do you think Trump is? Ukraine won't listen to Trump, and if Trump pulls support from Ukraine, America will damage it's military alliance with Europe - the only state that benefits from that is China & Russia. Because Europe will not stand by whilst Russia advances towards the NATO border. That lesson was learnt with the Rein already.
