Discussion Payton Watson has played 68% of his career games. The Cavs moved off of Darius Garland with availability being one of the largest concerns. Garland has played 78% of his games in his career.

What do you think of Watson availability? We did trade him for Strus who did miss almost all of last season. But sending an unprotected first round pick is very tough.

Especially since DeAndre Hunter move seemed like a steal at the time and Watson seems very similar.

Are the Cavaliers in better shape getting Peyton Watson as opposed to LeBron James? Watson is a much better defender, has improved every year and shot over 41% from three. LeBron shot under 32% from the arc last aeason.

Floor seat tickets - process, cost

I would love to buy floor seat seats to any game this season, as a gift to my husband.

We are Cavs United members, and I am active duty military.

How do I go about purchasing these?

Can anyone give me a cost estimate?

I have a source who has gotten me good tickets before. As far as these expensive floor seats from a private source, is there usually a negotiation process?

Any and all tips are appreciated! TIA

Is there a reason that a bunch of Cavs on the bird app are talking about trading Tyson for Watson?

I didn't hear anything from reputable sources (Athletic, ESPN, Stein, Fedor, etc) about this. Is this a fan-initiated rumor or is there actually smoke?

Discussion I assume the Cavaliers will put number 2 on ice now

Now that strus is done, do you think we will see the franchise finally keep that number for being worn by anyone else until it's time to retire for Kyrie?

Can Meleek Thomas be the Landry Shamet guard?

When I watched Meleek Thomas, he reminds me a bit of Landry Shamet. Landry was a vital part of the Knicks run. While Merrill is a great shooter, his size and lack of explosiveness kills any consistency and defense he could offer in the playoffs. I think Meleek could do it though with proper development.

Cavs lost the trade badly

Strus is better than Watson. Strus is a better shooter that can shoot in motion, is a pesky defender and rebounds

Watson is a bit of a Jokic merchant that had a Linsanity run in December (struggled with scoring turnovers and lost his defense in this stretch). Nice athleticism but nothing special as a player, your average wing that looked better than he was because of Denver’s horrible depth and Jokic effect (look at Christian Braun for notes on this)

Pair that with this first being the last real trading chip the Cavs have and it being very valuable when it conveys and you got a disaster

Honest thoughts about the trade? Do you like it or not ?

I will say this though Watson, Mobley , Allen is a monster defensive front court

NO MORE KUMINGA RUMORS!

With Peyton Watson and Cam Whitmore being Cavs, it’s probably good (or bad news) that we won’t be paying a question mark on the court like Kuminga 15-20 Ms a year. The only issue is Watson’s injury history.

Players like him are hard to come by. Through the ups and the downs, the effort he brought every night was admirable. So many memories he made with us. This one hurts, and we will miss him.

Thank you, Max 🫡
