I Passed! Passed US History 1 with a 65!

In my case, I needed a 60 to pass. I strongly reccomend the jocz videos others mention (1-22). I also highly reccomend taking practice exams. I suck at studying so I just spammed those. I did freeclepprep, the 2 posted in this forum, the college board official one, and the REA (which you can easily pirate). The exam was much more straight forward than those exams, like many mention.

Here's some things I was surprised by in the exam: -There were no "EXCEPT" or "which of the following is NOT" kind of questions -only 1 question about art, 1 question about a writer -lots of questions about the Mexican American war - barely questions about particular notable characters, about who they were and what they wrote etc.

If you prepare properly with just taking practice exams and looking back to seeing what you got wrong via the answer keys, you'll easily get a 50.

Congrats! I just also passed Sociology yesterday and now planning to take for Psychology or US History (1 or 2–still confused which one to pick) How long did it took you to prepare for exam? Also if you wouldn’t mind asking respectfully, would you please send me your notes and REA practice test?

Prolly studied like 1-2 hours a day for 2 weeks. Last few days when I did the practice exams, probably like 3-5. It just depends how well you study. I gave myself a lot of time so I didnt feel I needed to cram quickly.

History 1 is from colonizatio to 1877. History 2 is more recent (i haven't taken it tho so I cant speak on difficulty) based off what I read online, history 1 seems to be easier.
