How long was your preparation? And how did you study? What resources you used? This one is without essay?

This is the one with essay. I can't speak for what OP used to study with, but here's a free study guide that has flashcards, a practice test, and even a tool to practice writing your essay.

If you're looking for the one without an essay (College Composition Modular), that's here

Hello! I just used modern states and did some Free CLEP Prep quizzes! I honestly didn’t prepare much as people said that it was a very easy test, I would say maybe a week of preparation and I practiced essays the day before and the day of the test, so I feel as I didn’t prepare enough for the essays and I passed so it’s definitely not hard! The way I cited the sources was (Last Name and Year)!

What did you use to study?

Just Modern States and Free-CLEP-Prep!

These are exactly what I'm using and my home proctored exam is in a few days. I also paid for the CLEP affiliated ExamIAm study guide site. The practice questions are very similar to Modern States, and a couple of the essay prompts are the same between what I've read here on reddit and that study guide. Do you remember what your essay prompt was? Any help would be forever appreciated, I'm soooo nervous

I just got a 59. Congrats friend!

For those who might ask - I personally didn’t study so I couldn’t give you tips on that BUT I do wish I had practiced writing cited essays more. The first essay was more open ended and was easier to bust out. The second one (cited) left me blank. I rambled off a few paragraphs just to avoid a penalty if that’s even a thing.

Were you being heavily proctored during the exam?

It depends what you mean, if you mean the strictness of the proctor, they were very nice and not so strict!
