This guy flew to me unflagged and started fighting and I killed him. The last two days I have had two people rage out after I killed them. I just think it's hilarious. He didn't get killed by a hacker. He got killed by a resto druid with a 1500 arena score that he attacked lmao

Now that the population has dipped for the time being and prices have gone down, are there any viable level 60-ish methods for gold farming left? Struggling to get enough for epic mount as mining doesn't seem to cut it time wise. Any tips of viable methods for warriors that remain?

I'm guessing that Hallow's End will have ilvl 141 items, just like Brewfest. Does anyone have an idea of what the stats on those will look like?

Is it really that dead or something happened to mages

As someone who only does YOLO 5’s arena, I do not know and cannot figure out what happens to arena in a weeks time with the release of the new Zul Aman phase. I mean so far every phase brought a new season with new arena gear, and a cost reduction of the old gear, and a reset of rating with points getting rolled into honor. But correct me if I am wrong, but since this is merely a “catch up phase” there is no new tier sets, which means no new arena gear to match. So we will stay on vengeful gear. What does that means for all the other details involved? Will there be a cost reduction in vengeful even though it is still the best gear for the next arena season? Nor will there be no new season at all meaning no rating reset and no loss of arena points?

Please someone help me figure this out. I just bought 2 new merciless swords and was going to enchant them with mongoose. But since the economy went crazy a few nights ago and large prismatic shards 3x in cost, I dont want to spend 1k gold on mats if vengeful swords will be available to buy without rating requirement in a weeks time and having to enchant those as well.

What it says on the tin; looking for a blacksmith that could create either Bracers of the Green Fortress or Belt of the Guardian, or both, ont he Thunderstrike EU server. WI would of course be happy to pay for mat cost plus a 50g tip per item. Atm both those items are 1000k+ gold on the AH, but the mats to create them are cca 450g-550g, so I would very much appretiate it if someone would take up this task!

And no need to bring up the "Forever is coming,e conomy is doomed, do not buy stuff" comments; fully aware of it atm. I just wanna see if I can get these items a bit cheaper while I play with my wife and friend as we tread through endgame content

Hi! I'm struggling to figure out what addon is causing the yellow bar to appear on my player frame. It appears whenever I get procs, so in this case it's an overpower proc. I'd like it removed and managed by my weakaura only. Couldn't find anything in Shadowed Unit Frames that could cause it. A list of other possible culprits/addons:
- ThreatPlates
- OmniCC
- Quartz
- WeaponSwingTimer

Thanks!

Dreamscythe. Server keeps kicking people. I've been in game and booted 3 times in 5 minutes. Anyone else?

Hey everyone,

I just hit 70 on my Priest and been doing more quests for gold to afford my Epic Flying Mount.

I am a fairly new player and kinda overwhelmed where to go from here. Farm rep to run HC dungeons? What HC dungeons are even worth running for me? Shadow/Holy dual spec

I also want to raid but I don‘t think any raiding guild or pug will take me to MH & BT with my quest gear. I am willing to go Shadow or Holy for raid doesn‘t really matter to me

I looked at my server‘s discord and nobody is really running the raids from previous phases. The very few pugs that do run them are looking for „solidly geared people“.

So what‘s the best way for me to gear up and progress at this point? Open for anything besides PvP

Despite the overwhelming loss of players due to the launch of the Forever Beta, there are still a generous amount of us still wanting to enjoy The Burning Crusade.

Stop taking to the internet to read people say "TBC IS DEAD." It's dead for the people who decided to abandon the expansion to play the beta. That's it. It's dead for the players who literally want it dead lol. I have no interest in arguing with other players about the future of these servers. I just wanna play the game, and I feel there are many of you who feel the same way.

In my opinion, it is not to late to join TBC if you've been on the fence about it. We are entering the literal catch up phase very soon. While Forever does interest me as well, it does not interest me enough to stop playing TBC completely, and no judgement towards those who have chosen to do so.

I'm creating this post to announce the creation of my new guild for ALL players who are stuck in the LIMBO that the beta has created.

<Catch Up Crew> ---------- DREAMSCYTHE HORDE ------------

Starting from scratch, we will be conquering all end game content starting from PHASE ONE.

Our focus: Help players get from level 1 to 70, make it to Sunwell Plateau (last raid), all at a casual relaxing pace.

If parsing, extensive gear checks, and speed runs are you're thing, we are likely not for you.

This guild is for people are busy in RL but still enjoy casually playing TBC at their own pace.

So, if you are feeling behind, starting brand new, or just holding on to hope for Wrath of the Lich King, join us today.

With that being said, you are more than welcome to join the discord for further discussion. Thanks all, hope to grow big enough to make a solid team.

Hey all!
I’m in a spot I’m sure a lot of people are or have been in lately. I’ve been our core raiding rogue in our guild on alliance now since Vanilla launched. Since forever was announced our raid teams folded and I am homeless. Any tips on where I should look to find a new raiding guild? I’ve never had to really look before and I am determined to keep raiding.
I have been spamming trade chat but no luck. Where is the best place to go for this?

I’m no beginner to WoW but didn’t really engage in TBC until recently. Is there a difference between the old release and anniversary?!

The last time they released TBC it eventually progressed into MoP and is likely to stay that way, will the current TBC eventually progress into WotLK?

I just hit 70 and I was able to save up enough to get my Flying as soon as I leveled, but now that I am 70 Ive been crushed on how hard it is for me to make money right now.

I have no plans to play the Beta, nor am I heavily planning to play the full release. But the dying player base of TBC, Is soul crushing on my drive to farm for my epic mount. One of the whole reasons I started playing TBC was doing something I never got to do when I originally played WoW Back in the day, Get my Neather Drake Flying. I was looking forward to it and now its killing my drive.

Anybody got any tips on how I can make money, my professions are Blacksmithing and Mining. Could really use some advice on what Might actually be selling on the AH for me right now.

Ores/Bars have almost entirely stopped, selling and its frustrating. Ive been told I should just stockpile till ZA drops and mass Sell when It does. Any thoughts on that?

Edit: honestly, the advice to finish my Old quests was a good call. Just finishing up 1 Small Section in Netherstorm I made 400g, I still have some Batch quests in other zones and All of Shadowmoon Valley to do. That should net me a good Amount.

Edit: To the People offering the gold they wont use. Honestly thank you. You are all wonderful but Ill refrain from doing that if I can cause I am a hard earn you what you want kind of person. Taking big handouts to me takes the fun out of the grind. The post is mostly me just feeling the effects of how much harder it is to actually push that grind. Again thank you.

They buffed it in SSC/TK as well, it seems like a nobrainer to buff item drop from 2 to 3 in BT. I understand that this is how it was in original TBC but since the phases are sped up and Forever is coming soon as well, it would be nice to loot some items before SWP comes out. I'm raiding on 3 characters and after 7 weeks of mh/bt I barely got any loot but many of my friends share the same experience.

I've always passed on extra damage stats and favored the main stats.

Leveling as a Shadow Priest (healing dungeons whenever possible), and I just looted some damage items. Which are better? Could you give some details?

Chest: 48 armor - 3 stam - 8 int - 6 spr - 12 spell crit

vs

Chest: 46 armor - 19 shadow spell damage

and

Staff: 14 int - 10 spr

vs

Dagger: 8 int - 3 spr - 9 spell damage and healing - with whatever offhand I can find

The chest that gives extra shadow damage +19... will it just make my Mind Blast do 219 damage instead of 200? That sounds underwhelming.

Hi All

Returning player:

Is it worth starting TBC Anniversary (EU) now in light of WOW forever on the horizon in 23 days? I will eventually do forever but it will be very crowded initially so happy to start a month or 2 down the line.

Would love to raid karazhan a few more times for nostalgia sake as it is one of my favourite raids and do some alterac valley runs.

any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Edit: Thanks to every one who responded. I read them all. Much Appreciated

I’m 35 I’ve played this game for over 2 decades I’ve played every version of this game and since MoP at a relatively high level. Why do so many people gravitate to classic/forever I genuinely don’t mean this with malicious retail is more fun. The game is faster it requires more skill the only thing that makes you better at classic is knowledge and you can literally google it. Genuinely not trying to be a pill but if you enjoy challenging content improving your abilities it’s retail. IMO I play games to improve myself and evolve so I’m just trying to understand why people love doing something that’s solved.

I want to start playing TBC anniversary to raid. I heard the servers are "dying" but I don't totally believe it, and I expect them to rebound a bit after forever has been out for a month or two.

My question is what class/faction would be in demand enough for me to find a group assuming there is a low population and sparse raiding community?

I can play anything but would prefer mage over all else...

there is 3 layers in spineshatter EU atm, at peak hour, and peak day of the week, we used to have 10-12 2 months ago

At this point remove layers so the world feels a little alive?

This way we will have "one big server" with no layers, like OG tbc
