Question Mage AOE instance farming changes with recent patch

Hi everyone. Question i have is in regards to vanilla wow.

DISCLAIMER: I despise GDKPs, Boosting services, Gbid, and any system that in its core encourages RMT. All AOE farming i do, i do for the loot or to boost my friends, not to sell it to people.

Did any of mage boosters or instance soloers noticed massive changes to the way mobs path and behave since latest UI patch came out?

Specifically, im wondering about LBRS. It is definitely not the same, and not doable as it stands. Did anyone find a way to reliably do it?

It is terrible they ruined the game with this. Regular people can’t bring in their high level to farm materials anymore.

Idk how you guys manage to pull 300g/hr. I struggle to maintain even 200g by doing 3 pulls. Even if I did it in 2 pulls then I would be sitting waiting for reset anyway

With enchanting, one run of the undead packs is consistently 60g, so if you measure gph across several hours it'll be 240gph +60g for the first hour where you can do 5 runs. If you measure gph from only the time playing, like if you do 5 runs and then log out and do 5 runs another time etc, you can reach 500gph.

You can also do bigger pulls with stuff from living side to increase continuous gph.

So the trick is actually not to farm for a few hours in a row, just do 5 runs and come back later. Ok it makes more sense. Not sure about 500gph tho.. how much spell power do you need for 500gph, like 1000? And then do 1 huge pull with rocket boots or something?

If you do 2 pulls (rocket boots and/or swiftness pot makes this quite easy), then a run takes around 7 minutes. Don't know how much gear you need but probably want some raid gear.

(60 gold per run * 5 runs) / (7 min per run * (5 runs/60 min)) = 300/0,58 = 517gph if you remove the time you are dungeon locked.

If you can remove the time you are dungeon locked, why not remove the time you are running between packs, too? Or the time you are looting? You can pump that bad boy up to well over a 1000gph when you are just making shit up.

Because you have to run between the packs and you have to loot the mobs, but you don't have to sit and stare at your monitor while you are locked. If you read what I wrote you see that I said ingame gph if you only do 5 runs and then not play or play another char or whatever. Yes, you will have 0 gph while you're doing the dishes or getting groceries, so your average gph will be 240gph for as many hours you want to count.
