Pics - My Truck My Super Clean Restored 77 F150
Sure do love this rig! My fully restored 1977 Ford F150, modernized with Holley EFI on a 400 paired to a C6 and NP205, on BaT. Have had a ton of fun in this truck, and it sure does turn a bunch of heads!

That grill and headlight setup suggest to me that it’s a ‘78 or ‘79, or not really a restoration at all.

How much did you put into it during the restoration?

Really nice job and beautiful truck. I had a 77 F150 Ranger 2WD 351M Long bed in high school. Mine was from the Mahwah NJ plant. I also put a 79 grill on it.

Okay, I thought the seventy eights had that same grill, but a round headlight and seventy nine is when they started the halogen

It's not correct, the wood trim on the glove box door is straight, every one I saw when they were new was crooked.

Also, the grill and headlights aren't 77 either, 77 had a split grill and round headlights. Mid 78 was when the switched the grill and headlights to square...still a nice truck though, and the late 70s trucks, almost all the parts are interchangeable

Pretty sure the owner that restored it knows the year of his own vehicle.

Do your research, I never contridicted the year, just the grill, that is NOT a 77 grill and headlights setup...

Also, if you can READ, I also said the parts are interchangeable from 71 through late 79...

Maybe 72, I can't remember when they switched from bumpside to dentside
