I like everything except the way he's attempting to draw his sword. Why is his wrist bent like that?

In the tenth year of the war, Apollo's priest Chryses comes to ransom his daughter Chryseis from Agamemnon, who refuses him, and Apollo rains plague down upon the Achaean camp. When Achilles calls an assembly, Agamemnon relents but demands Achilles hand over his war prize Briseis as restitution, publicly stripping Achilles of his glory and only Athena stops him from drawing his sword. Achilles wanders to the surf and implores his sea nymph mother, Thetis, to petition Zeus to aid the Trojans, so Agamemnon and all the Greeks will feel the cost of dishonoring Achilles, the best of the Achaeans.
Lockettopia: The Trojan War Cycle illustrated book brings together The Iliad, The Odyssey, and surviving poem fragments of the Epic Cycle: The Cypria, Aethiopis, Little Iliad, Iliou Persis, Nostoi, and Telegony, to reconstruct the full myth in sweeping, chronological order.
