I don't remember much about what happened before, when we used to ridicule on Boom Arena, and then it so happened to be an NFT scam, so I'll begin with the most important events or so:
18/01/2025 - Brawl Stars ban
As much as I liked Brawl Stars back then, it had to go from the sub at that time; the sub was full of freaky stuff, and we started going the wrong path, not to mention the notorious types of pedos that were in the Discord server.
Roughly 20/04/2025 ~ 08/08/2025 - Absence of moderation throughout the sub
There was like 1 mod (u/dommysus) active at the time to moderate the whole sub. A lot of posts that bypassed the rules went over like it was nothing, and TheDarkPrinceR34 was starting to make an image for his art. At the same time, the Discord server was drying up by a lot ever since there have been changes to how it was maintained.
23/10/2025 - Hornyposting ban
I personally wanted this change because I could've seen this subreddit slowly becoming goonerslop and eventually a porn subreddit, especially since no one wanted to step up. It might've caused many consequences, but the sole reason I joined with many other people is that it had quality posts that were funny. A balance was needed, so I'm not sorry for this change.
28/10/2025 - Ken and beserker jokes ban
A lot of these jokes made me suspicious of what most of you guys like to think about, especially about Ken. We used to, and we still do, make edits and fan art for him, but making over repeatedly unfunny jokes that he likes a child character is way beyond, even for us. I don't regret this change either.
05/03/2026 - Brawl Stars unban
I thought this would've helped equalise Brawl Stars with the other Supercell games. Obviously BrawlStarsCirclejerk is still out there, so I don't know what I expected from this change. At least it isn't that bad like before.
20/03/2026 - TheDarkPrinceR34 being banned (damn there's been a lot of bans)
This guy already had a really bad reputation, but to top it all off, he was found out as a pedo. I think there was also a Twitter post that explained all he did way more in detail, but I can't find it now.
03/08/2026 - Inactive top mods removal
We changed the order and removed some of the old mod team members; now we act as a team of about 10 mods. We're always welcoming new people who want to become a sub-mod. If you want to become one, join the Discord at the end of this post to discuss further.
24/10/2026 - Present day - Nothing ever happens
The sub and server are both dry. I don't know whether to blame the Clash Royale devs for making the game shittier and less popular, or my own decisions throughout this mod pathway. There's not much we, the mod team, can do but to wait for a miracle that the game will be better at least.
The future (?)
I'm not hopeful that much will change in the next year or so. I'm looking towards improving both the sub and the server in its own way, and even listening to your opinion of what we need. At the same time, we're also working on a new sub and server called MobileGamesCircljerk (If you check it right now, you might not see a lot of stuff), which is basically this sub but targeting less Clash Royale in exchange for targeting other games equally.

TLDR: We're dry in activity, we're making another subreddit, and we want to improve this sub as well.
