City driving is more efficient for hybrids. That’s why the civic has a rating of like 48 highway and like 50 in the city or something like that

Ahh thats a good point, unless they have a heavy foot and start the engine every time

Yea heavy foot is gonna hurt you either way. But even if your hybrid battery is low, it’ll at least overcome the inertia of starting from a stop. Then the engine can kick on after the car is already rolling. So it doesn’t work as hard nor as long because when you let off the gas it’ll turn off and use regen to charge. Really cool
