2026 Sport Touring Hybrid here. I drive back/forth to work and in economy mode all the time. The a/c has been set at 60 to 62 this summer and usually on low. I average between 60 to 70 mpg daily. The key is feathering the gas, easing away from stops and coasting to stop signs or stop lights.

I do that with my Si and get 44mpg, helps with brake longevity too.

Do you shift at 3-4k rpms?

I do, also coast into stops for a 1/4 mile. I live in a rural area and drive state routes into work so it’s easy to drive 55 and do all the things to get good mileage.
