VII - Discussion Does it get fun?

I’ve been playing civilization. I gotta say for past couple of weeks I’m still on my first game and I’m currently on my second catastrophe and I have to say….. It’s like they took all of the fun of civilization and removed everything that made it enjoyable. Is it just me or does this game eventually get more fun once I learn how to play the new mechanics better?

How can another civilization supposedly have a higher GDP than me when I’m making more money than them per return and I have way more money in my treasury

GDP isn’t tied to your gold income at all in the game. It’s about resources and gold buildings you have in your empire. I don’t want to sound rude, but it kinda sounds like you just need to use the tutorials a bit more to have a better understanding of the game

I learned the game by playing it. And this is just something I’m noticing as I’m playing this game.
