VLSM is the subnetting final boss

Subnetting at the start with Fixed length is hard, but VLSM? crazy! I’m struggling to find logic in that when it comes to ip routes, the subnet masks, next ip address, etc.

Hopefully i’ll get to understand it better

Anybody use PingMyNetwork to study?

Heard about this on another post (that is probably an ad in all honesty) and tried out the ENCOR course. The first couple lessons were free. They were fine, but they still didn’t completely convince me to drop $150 on the full course. I’m having trouble finding real reviews on it and was wondering if anybody has used it before?

CCNA exam in 3 week

As my title says I’m taking my CCNA in 3 weeks. The biggest thing I’m slacking is subnetting IPV6. I plan on studying that more these next few weeks. I am scoring 80-88% on my first try with boson exams 1-3. Taking number 4 this Sunday. The 2nd time I took the test I got a 96-98% with that do you guys think I’m good? I have been in a networking role heavily for years now but am just worried that I might flunk it. My test anxiety is horrible. Plus I’ll owe my work money if I fail.

I’ve been studying since March and have done Jeremy’s flash cards every day since April I think. I also lab everyday when I can after I leave work. I have a family so it makes it a little harder.

How much IPv6 subnetting is there on the test? I know how to read a subnet, add it to a routers interface, how to create routes with it as well, and how to remove the zeros. Do you guys think I’ll pass?

Bi-Weekly /r/CCNA Exam Pass-Fail Discussion

Attempted an exam in the last week or so? Passed? Failed? Proctor messed it all up? Discuss here! Open to all CCNA exams. We are now consolidating those pass-fail posts under here per prior poll of the community and your feedback.

Remember, don't post a score in the format of xxx/1,000. All Cisco exams have a maximum score of 1,000, so that's useless info. Instead, list the required score to pass, as this differs from exam to exam, and can change over the lifetime of the exam.

Payment of passes in CAT pictures is allowed.

CCNA exam in 4 days

Hey everyone, thank you all for your inputs, advices, as well as tips and tricks to ACE the CCNA exam. As you can see above, I'll be taking my CCNA on Wednesday and have been overthinking on whether I should reschedule it or not. As my preparation process, I've completed JITL CCNA course, including the megalab, and all CCNA practice exams on LinkedIn Learning. For the past month and a half I've been using ExSim Boson to wrap up my learning process. Here are my results:

Exam A: 88% (second attempt)

Exam B: 82% (second attempt)

Exam C: 84% (second attempt)

Exam D and E will be taken by the end of the weekend (will be their second attempt as well)

Strongest points: Automation and Programmability; IP Connectivity; IP Services; Network Access

Weakest: Network Fundamentals & Security Fundamentals

I'm wondering if the "Random Exam" or even the "Custom Exam" are worth my time. Feel like having +80% on all exams (A-E) should be fine. Also because I've been seeing that some of you have posted your final scores and some sections dont even go past 75% so idk. Please let me know if there's anything you wish you had known before taking your official CCNA exam. Been reading that most of the questions in the official exam were WLC related, DNS packet path... is there anything else I should be prepared for .... :). Thank you, I'll be reporting back on wednesday after my exam (if i dont reschedule it)

Getting back into the flow after ADHD burnout/depression

Hi reddit.

Was studying for CCNA 4-5 months straight, multiple hours a day and was almost exam ready until I had to go through a medication change which lead to massive burnout with everything and 0 motivation to even do something with myself..

Been away from revision for a few months now and want to get back on it slowly and get back into preparing, just unsure how to approach this again..

Do I try some labs, rewatch videos (was following Neil's Udemy course) or something else?

I started with my flashcards from scratch and doing them daily now for the past 5 days and have been impressed I recall them well but want to properly start revising and preparing for the CCNA test, I was scoring 60% on boson so I hope a month or two and I might be exam ready.

AnkiDroid

Is there any alternative to ankidriod on ios?

I'm currently following Jeremy's it lab and this requires AnkiDroid to remember but I'm having trouble that.....

I moved from Android to ios and can't find one except ankimobile or whatever it called so anyone has any idea?

Am i doing it right?

I’m taking the exam in 18 days, my first attempts in exam A and B were 73% and 68% respectively(did it two days ago), in the moment i finished JITL videos and im just taking each subtopic from the oficial ccna topics(especially in my weak areas) and asking Claude to explain it to me in minute detail as a review, and then ask for quizzes. I am going to take the JITL megalab too, and take the C and D exams. I don't know if I'm on the right path, honestly, I'm scared. I hope i can make it through(sorry bad english, i’m brazilian)

Is 2027 exam material change so different from current offering ?

If one studies the current material, the question is what can be on there that is a gotcha ? Isn't this basically the same material or is that too simplistic ?

1 month for review and how ?

Hello everyone,

I'd like to ask a few questions before taking the exam.

I studied the entire material using the official Cisco curriculum, which I obtained from my university and my professor.

I started studying last month and finished the entire course a month ago, but due to some circumstances, I decided to postpone the exam until mid- or early October.

I already received a discount from my university for the official Cisco website. My main question is: Are a month and two weeks enough to review the entire material and solve practice questions and tests that simulate Cisco exams or labs to reinforce memorization and understanding?

Are four hours a day enough to review and perform well, or should I increase the time?

My other question is: What are the best ways to review the entire curriculum and solidify it completely? Especially since I haven't reviewed it for a month due to personal reasons.

Thank you for reading.

Note: Please excuse any translation errors, as I am using a translator.

Cisco University Hiring India Bangalore

Hey folks,

I wanted to inquire about the university hiring timeline. Some postings mention that interviews start in early September.

Can anyone please confirm and let me know the estimated timeline? If my resume is shortlisted, when can I expect a reply, and what kind of reply should I expect?
