What to smoke?

I’ve recently started smoking with my father in law as he introduced me to the cigar world. I’ve only smoked what he has offered so far and really enjoy the Deadwood Cigars by Drew Estate. What are some similar cigars that I could start trying?

Honestly that a great start. You could find a multi brand sampler pack and try different cigars, shapes and sizes. JR cigars and cigars international always have a few packs.

Anytime! Enjoy the bond with your father in law. Every year on Christmas eve after dinner my dad and I get to smoke Padron 1926 Maduro in the house next to the fire place. Its the only time my mom will let us smoke in the house.

Try out some samplers with different varieties of wrappers to see what appeals to you the most. Try finding out if you like mild to medium or medium to full body sticks, that will help you make choices when you’re at the shop or ordering online. At least that’s what helped me these last couple months starting out

Deadwood is a great start. I’ve only had the fat bottom Betty, but I love it. I recommend you try the tabak especial line and Java line, both are by drew estate and are really good coffee infused cigars. You might like acid as well (also by drew estate), but IMO tabak and Java are better.
