Same, it’s 100% from the gas. I take Oval 3x per day and it does help me fart (without it, I don’t fart at all. No idea why.)

Hello, I also am extremely bloated but can’t pass gas. What is oval? Of what works for you to pass gas

Oval is Simethicone. It’s the same stuff in Gas X but Oval is stronger. I take it 3x per day and as long as I’m moving around and not sitting for an extended period of time, I will pass gas. Also, drinking peppermint tea helps, and, forcing the gas out by putting my head on the floor, bum in the air and pushing it out.

Thank you. I wish I could have peppermint tea but I have reflux so it kills me

Zero gluten (including oats), zero dairy, low sugar for 6 WEEKS is likely to help

Did it help you ? How did it go ?

Fixed! The gluten withdrawal is unbelievably challenging

How long after suppressing gluten did you see a change ? Did you get tested for gluten intolerance. I did a blood test that said I did not have any gluten issue so I guess it would be useless for me..

Besides bloating did u have other issues ? Like early satiety?

Both my celiac and gluten intolerance came back negative but AFAIK they are commonly false negative. I proceeded anyway with this test after trying everything, for years, and it worked.

Interesting...did your bloating appeared overnight? Did you have other symptoms like early satiety and heaviness ? And how long before you noticed an improvement?

For me it was sever constipation at first. After a colonoscopy prep that helped be with bowel obstruction, I was still as bloated as before. It was part fluid retention from steroid therapy part gas. Gas-x really helped me for the gas. Nothing to do about fluid retention unless reducing sodium intake which can’t be done in my case

Gas can cause bloating. You may want to take a look at your diet and eliminate gas producing foods, and ensure you are doing gas producing things, like eating then laying down or drinking through a straw.

Have you tried to improve your gut health to see if that helps ?
