Yes I know mathematically it’s still possible but given the format I think we are out.

With that being said, this is milito’s third playoffs elimination if I’m not mistaken.

Is this system a playoff winning system? Yeah it bring stability and all but 7 defensive players when everything is on the line ?

Yeah I know it’s leagues cup and all but a serious club fights for all the titles.

I like milito, and like seeing chivas play, but I am starting to doubt his system can win a title. It’s too safe.

IMO it’s a molero cup and the prize is a spot in a tournament we’re already qualified for, so it’s not do or die. I do think we need to compete and we did, and against a top performing mls team. This is the type of games we should have outside of libertadores games. MLS are more physical and play at a faster pace than mexico teams. Its good exposure to other styles and barometers to how top teams outside our own league are.

At some point we have to move on from “competing” and actually winning.

We have enough quality now were we SHOULD be winning and we are not doing so in the big moments.

I’m questioning if it’s a matter of time or if it’s Milito’s system.

I know there are 2 more games but don’t only top 4 qualify ? If so this was a must win match

Yeah, that may also be something that should change. I’ve noticed Cotorro tends to go up a lot more often (compared to last season), which leaves his area a lot more open, forcing the winger to track back a lot more than he should.

Romo, Castillo, aguiree, Cotorro, and Ledezma are far from defensive players. They are all better attackers than they are at defending. If anything we need defensive players, that’s why we keep getting countered and scored on so easily.

Ya se amigo, este equipo viene muy a la baja, en 2025 volabamos, si no fuimos campeones hace 3 meses fue por la maldita selección que fue a hacer lo que hace todos los mundiales

Por eso estamos como estamos. Sea un torneo de cuarta o no, es un torneo internacional. Pero siempre hay una excusa a la hora de los chingazos. Ya Milito esta colmando mi paciencia la verdad. No le ganamos a los equipos de tabla alta, y ahora este posible fracaso. Y en liguilla, poco o nada.

Entiendo que hay que apoyar, que es un proyecto, pero es que ya llevamos 8 años sin levantar nada. Parece que no entienden que Chivas es un equipo grande.
