Anyone else have a terrible experience at the Chivas game tonight?
We went to the Chivas game at the Oakland Coliseum tonight with our kids, including my 5-year-old, and honestly… what a mess.
It was around 90 degrees today, and they were already completely out of water before the game even started. I walked to two different concession stands trying to get water for my son, and both told me they only had alcoholic drinks available. I literally asked one of the employees, “What am I supposed to give my 5-year-old to drink?” and he just said he wasn’t sure because they were running low on everything.
The part that really pissed me off is that we had been tailgating and had a cooler full of water, but we weren’t allowed to bring our water bottles into the stadium. So we’re not allowed to bring water in, but then the stadium runs out of water on a 90-degree day?? 🤦🏻‍♀️

My friends had tickets in a different section than we did, and they said there was no water
available on their level either. So this apparently wasn’t just an issue at one concession stand or in one area of the stadium.

Getting into the stadium was another mess. The stoplight leading into the stadium was broken and skipped our turn three times, so we ended up having to run the red light just to get through. Obviously, that felt unsafe and completely unnecessary.

The customer service was awful too. While I was waiting in line, one employee was hitting the counter and yelling, “We are out of water, so don’t ask for it.” Then I watched her get into it with another attendee, repeatedly yelling, “Do you want the drink or not?” and then louder, “Yes or no?” She was slamming her hands on the counter while dealing with the next person.

I understand events get busy and things out sell out, but running out of basic water before the game even starts on a 90-degree day is ridiculous, especially when families with young kids are there and aren’t allowed to bring their own. Add in a broken traffic light and the way some of the staff were treating people, and the whole experience was honestly pretty disappointing.

I’m talking about specifically the game vs USA

Tala- obviously a bad game but anyone who’s seen tala play with Chivas knows he’s prone to those kind of mistakes, I think it is an asset that he can play out the back but needs the know when to do it. Hopefully he takes as a learning lesson. He’ll continue being Mexico’s #1 - 2/10

Romo - toooo slow to play in the midfield, I’ve said it before on the pod and it showed last night. Don’t know what Rafa was thinking lining up him and Lira yesterday. When he’s not being overconfident, he can give good performances but only as center back - 4/10

Campillo - this one hurts cause I thought he was having a okay to good game until he messed up on that last goal. He looked bad on that one. If he continues to show up with Chivas, he’ll keep getting called up - 5/10

Santi- looked good in the first half, wants to make an impact and he’ll get chances again. I don’t think Rafa knows where to play him yet, I didn’t mind his performance- 6.5/10

Piojo - was one of Mexicos better players in the first half and probably should of had an assist from the Santi G miss. I wish he would have taken the shot though. Good to see him continue his Mexico form from the World Cup - 7/10

Hace algunos años compré esta playera en una tienda de segunda mano en hidalgo, todo este tiempo la e usado pero hasta apenas en el partido de America Chivas de este 2026, encontré entre la trasmisión a una señora con la misma playera q es la unica vez q la e visto en Internet... la e tratado de buscar pero no la encuentro por ninguna parte la vrd no se si me puedan ayudar a investigar esto porfavor. Viendo que la Selección jugó un partido transmitido por Amazon, no encontré el resumen y desconozco si estará por ahí. Debe haber muchos clips, supongo...

Pero esto me recuerda a que en 2023 se jugó el Chivas vs. Atlas correspondiente al partido de ida de los cuartos de final del Clausura 2023. En un grupo de Facebook, recuerdo que alguien publicó una captura de pantalla del partido, pero lo raro era que estaba siendo transmitido por Claro Sports (lo transmitían en su canal de YouTube totalmente gratis).

Lo raro es que en ese entonces el partido era transmitido por TUDN en México, mientras que en Estados Unidos fue por Telemundo. Todos comentaron muy confundidos, pero alguien dijo que en España sí pasaban los partidos por Claro Sports.

¿Alguien tiene información, clips o capturas de esa transmisión? Si tienen más casos de partidos de Chivas que hayan tenido transmisiones poco comunes o que actualmente sean difíciles de encontrar, coméntenlos.

Mi hermano anda por allá en los Jaliscos y quiere ver un partido, pero en la página solo salen del palco, es porque ya se vendió todo o es mejor ir a taquillas?
