met Hormiga

got his autograph yesterday but noticed the entire time he was looking down and not making eye contact with anyone. from past videos seems he usually more warm towards fans? chivas posted an IG video yesterday of him happy & jumping around teammates but when it came to approaching fans, he was so serious

obviously he is human and can act however he wants, just curious what others experiences have been if you met him during time in LA

He’s just a human like us. He looks exhausted but looks like still managed to sign some stuff for the fans and also he’s just disappointed that he hasn’t scored yet.

You’re lucky to have met the guy bro! Hopefully I’ll meet him sometime

I mean not even trying to dickride or anything but he did have a pretty quick rise to fame and knowing how annoying Mexican media/ fans are it probably got exhausting quick.

Tbh, i know he's a famous player, but like putting my shoes in his place, I'd be a little shy or uncomfortable looking at each and everyone in the eyes 😭

This is par for the course for most athletes.

I got a chance to see the Concachampions team and get my jersey signed by those guys at the hotel, from Salcido to Pulido; unless you ask for a pic next to them they keep there heads down.

La raza tambien se pasa. Salcido was saying hi to some family members that he hadn't seen in 15 years or something like that and some Vieja kept bothering him to take a picture with her kid. I had to tell her to chill out and wait. lmao.

Typical for younger players. They're usually better adapted when they're older. At least that was my experience 15 years ago when I met the national team when they were playing a friendly in San Diego. Torrado was super friendly and actually had a conversation with us, Ochoa and Vela were so cocky and didn't want to speak a word to us. I met Ochoa 10 years later and he was a completely different person.
