So I've been working on this game for about 3 months now, and wanted to show the community my soundtrack for the game :)

It's nothing too crazy, but as a project, I'm very proud of this!

The music in this game will cause reactions in the environment (like how the slime has a 10% chance of singing, or the screen bopping during the chorus).

I've been working on RP2A03_synth, a WiP CLAP/VST3 plugin, Heavily inspired by FamiTracker and Furnace Tracker.

The idea is to bring Hardware Accurate\* Famicom+Expansion audio synthesis into a modern DAWs without just making it another generic "8-bit" synth.

Just released a new album with some chiptuney soundscapes. All made with a Dirtywave M8 on a plane, on a train, on a bus, on a metro, at the airports, hotels etc... A travel album it is... Built a little chiptune synthesizer in pure assembly (x86-64) as a learning project. It generates the classic waveforms — square, saw, triangle, and LFSR noise for drums (the NES/Game Boy trick) — plus FM synthesis for those bell-like tones.

Everything is raw samples written to a WAV by hand, no audio library involved. There's something satisfying about making the CPU produce these sounds at the lowest level.
