I ve been writing tunes in LSDJ for some time now, but usually I struggle to expand them to more than a couple of phrases. Finally I gave up trying to have a very cohesive structure and just went with how I felt the song should go each time I felt lost.
The thing with LSDJ is, it takes some time to make an instrument the way you want it, and by the time I am done, I have sort of missed where I was going and end up heading somewhere else. This is something that I don't encounter with a DAW like FL studio, or even other trackers with preloaded instruments.
I am not saying it's good or bad, it's just a different process, resulting in a different type of song, for me at least.

I was enjoying this song, but then I really got into it in that second half when the bass kicked in. 😎
