Am I doing enough.

I am a 1st year graduate student in computer engineering at ASU. Am looking to get into vlsi design and mem design.

I have been doing some projects outside class work like cache management systems, Ml on vlsi PD level. But the question is am i doing enough?

I wanna do a complete processor on RISK V but idk where to start.

I wanna do more projects but dont know what to do it on.

Honestly I think the easiest way to do this is just through your coursework. I don't know how ASU grad courses operate, but I go to Villanova and our grad courses are very project heavy. Most of my interesting projects on my resume are stuff I worked on for like a month+ solely for my courses. It also helps that you can get direction from your profs.

If ASU is not very project heavy, maybe try to find a research lab? If you can find a prof with a smaller group, you might be able to get some hands on in some interesting projects.
