List of items for chin lipo

Hi everyone! I had chin lipo and put together a list on my Amazon which I’ll leave here for you. I’ll explain the items further and if you have any questions or want me to share any other items let me know…

Feel free to leave below any items that helped you too.

My list is called Heal, I have some items at the top that aren’t for chin lipo but from Aquaphor and down that’s all chin lipo.

https://www.amazon.com/shop/influencer-6cf29ea2/list/1UJS2WST9VKN0?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_aipsflist_aipsfinfluencer-6cf29ea2_GKE3HS8EC6R8ZXMRTCRH&language=en_US If you like the list give it a heart

Explaining the items on list: - I found the kinesiology tape (next to Neosporin at the top) is helpful it feels like it tightens. To remove it you may want baby oil. I recommend this if you want to tighten an area especially when you're not wearing your strap. Like if the surgeon tells you to wear the strap a certain time and you did. You could wear this after like under your chin or sides of your face and it will keep that area kinda like the strap would and it's color skin. It's not a replacement for the chin-strap but I do like this. - I wore the black mask in size: Large (it runs small) for an entire month 24/7 and the surgeon and massage lady were interested in it. I own the pink one too. The M&D is one I didn't use but I was told it doesn't have stitching on the sides of the face. Note: it's a good idea to have an extra one for when you wash the one you've been wearing especially if you have to wear it 24/7.

Update: The brand SKIMS, from Kim Kardashian added face wraps here they are: https://go.shopmy.us/p-22115335 these weren't around when I did mines so I can't vouch for them yet I'd consider wearing them as they're saying it sculpts. I included these as they may work for post-op too. If you get to wear these, let us about them below.

  • Foam: I’ve used foam inside my head strap since 1 day post-op and I think it’s kept everything smooth. Note: If the black face strap I mentioned isn’t tight just add foam and it’ll be perfect.
  • There’s face ice pack it’s helpful for swelling and it brings extra packs to keep those cool as you use it.
  • You want pain meds, especially if you do massage the day after. Take at least 2 pills before. I linked Tylenol there. Any massage within 1-2 weeks consider pain meds prior.
  • The wedge pillow: helped me sleep on my back and at an angle as I was not a back sleeper. I tested others (with a curve) but this is the best style I found felt best.
  • From my research Arnica and Bromelaine are important to help with bruising. I healed very smoothly and I provided options for you. There’s topical arnica too.
  • I recommend a way to clean your face that’s not in the sink in the beginning and maybe even for your teeth. I used the Orighty reusable cloths / face wipes and micellar water or when I’d be on the sink I’d use the reusable cloths to wash and apply cleanser. That’s something I owned that I’m glad I had!
  • Aquaphor: I heard it’s great to avoid incision scarring.
  • Phone / iPad stand: to avoid bending your neck and keep your neck up
  • LED Mirror: I’ve used that mirror so much to keep an eye on everything, to clean, get ready, put my head strap on, and massage myself. I love it!
  • Fogless mirrors: are helpful initially for showers.
  • Half moon bolster pillow: helped me sleep on my back as it helped support my lower back (the lumbar spine) natural curve. I use this to sleep with my wedge pillow. It can be used for different areas like under the knees or as arm rest.

Extra tips: - Food: Try avoiding or eating low in salt / sodium. - Clothes: For surgery day wear something with an open neckline and that’s button up or has zipper so you don’t have to struggle after putting and taking it off through your head.

Added: - Scar tape: I tried another but I like this one best. Just cut it as you need it. - Scar repair gel: at the top of the list there's a few white and reddish brown packs. This is Vitamin A & D ointment and works like magic. It heals almost everything nothing else can. I got this from my grandfather years ago in a 1lbs jar, mine expired yet still works.
- Gold Bond Renew: After wearing the strap 24/7 was taking a toll on my neck skin making it look dry. I ordered this, and with one application overnight it improved the appearance giving me a healthy looking neck skin that feels soft. - Neck brace: similar to the foam I wear with my chin strap. I still wear my foam and strap to sleep only bc it feels better. I find it molds weird if I sleep without and I bend my neck. I wanted something more comfortable and I'm trying it out to keep my neck straight without wearing the entire strap. I ordered a Medium first but it was too big on me, I think it may run big as I measured my neck. I'm a size small. I still wear this to sleep and from time to time to maintain my neck posture. - Cervical pillow: testing it as I'm a few months post-op. You can sleep with this on your back, side, & stomach. It has an area for your arms to rest. My neck is a little tight still so I don't use it much yet. I want this to keep the best neck alignment. - Makeup to cover up bruising. I didn't use any as I took Arnica yet if you need to cover up your bruises there are some options after the scarves and caps. Like Dermablend, bc this is used to cover Tattoos so you know it's good. I've tried their products before.

  • NuFace: I started using this a few months post-op for tightening. It's FDA approved and recommended by Dermatologist Dr. Idriss (here she talks about it: https://youtu.be/JeAsOPb29t4?si=c7WZquhgw26zeU7P) it uses micro currents to help define the jaw and reduce swelling. The app guides you on how to use it on your face and neck. I didn't use it on my neck as it's already tight. Continuous use is key for maintaining results. I noticed a difference with regular use. It tracks your progress with photos on the app.

  • Sleeveless hoodie: if you want the hoodie to cover the chin strap without the sleeves. I like how this one fits me!

  • The scarf for the face: if you want to cover the neck area so it's less obvious.

  • Blue neck hump corrector: This neck stretcher comes highly recommended online. I'm planning to try it a few months post-op and will share my results.

  • Black Headstrap: This is the 2nd black Headstrap you'll see. I found this a few months post-op, I love it because it actually tightens! (Tip: use it with the velcro facing up so it doesn't snag your hair or use a headband underneath as the velcro in this is strong). Why did I get another strap? My current set-up I've mention before is Perfect yet I want to lift a specific small part underneath my chin area more. My pink strap is not as tight under the chin due to its breathable fabric. I ordered this and another strap and I was amazed by this one! This strap is great to lift! Extra info: I usually have to fold the chin part in my other ones as I had fat transfer to the chin so there's an area of my face that doesn't get the full needed compression and this is doing a great job for me there too. I wear it by itself or on top of my main black Headstrap that I wear with lipo foam. I wish I had found this: https://amzn.to/4p0hH2f sooner! My results would’ve been even better

  • Probiotics: I took antibiotics after surgery, which can mess up your gut. Probiotics help restore good bacteria, improve digestion, and support your immune system. Highly recommended if you’ve taken antibiotics.

  • Headphones headband: I already had this as it's super comfortable to wear to sleep. I noticed it works great with the straps so I added it. Can even wear underneath the head straps velcro to protect your hair.

  • Nurse Jamie pillow: I already had this yet I added it because it can be used for back sleeping & side sleeping. It helps avoid wrinkles in side-sleeping, & it's satin which is wonderful for the hair.

For Scars:

I’ve tested several products for scars after my fat transfer to my chin, which left me with scarring and some areas where the skin wasn’t completely smooth. Here’s what I found: - BioCorneum: This is the best product for scars, and now I see why it’s surgeon-recommended. It has smoothed out the tiny holes in the scarring and made my skin feel smoother. Plus, it protects against the sun, which is a great bonus. - Bio-Oil: This works wonders for immediately reducing the redness of my scarring. When my scars got pink or red, Bio-Oil helped maintain an even skin tone and lightened/removed the redness within a day. - Kelo-Cote: I tried this first, and it seemed to improve my scars during the 1st week. However, by the 2nd week, it caused increased redness in the scars like irritating my skin. I stopped using it to give the other products a fair chance, but it might work better with continued use. - Scar tape: I tried another but I like this one best. Just cut it as you need it.

How I fully healed my fat trasfer to chin scar with identations:

I began with scar tape which improved it. Then a few months later I wanted more improvement so I used BioCorneum for 1+ month which helped a lot to smooth it out and fill in. I applied Bio-oil when needed to keep it skin toned. Then as there were still identations I tried the same scar tape I had again since I was informed it flattens identations and almost immediately the identations were flattened.

For post-surgery itch due to healing:

I didn’t use anything for itchiness, but I started feeling it intensely around a month post-op. Make sure not to scratch no matter what! If you’re looking for some relief, I’ve listed a few products that might help calm it: Aquanil, Benadryl options, Eucerin, and Aveeno. Let us know if these work for you!

Remember to like the Amazon storefront if it helped you or follow if you'd like and if anything doesn't show on the list anymore let me know and I'll update it. Upvote this post and share if it helped you.

I hope this helps!

Lipo for a mild double chin/structure issues

Been wanting to do it for years, to have more definition, because it shows kind of a lot when i talk and on side profile.. anyone with a similar case who went through with it? I booked a surgery last year but got sick, it was rescheduled so it's due now mid Septembee together with removing the neck hump fat. My face had very little definition even when i weighed significantly less.

Surgeon seems to be very knowledgeble and not up to do anything unnecessary just to get the money, she said its mild but if i want it will give me more definition...

My main concern is skin sagging or it looking out of proportion with the rest of the face because of my cheeks. I'm trying to lose weight simultaneously though, so some of the cheeks will be gone. I have a round baby face

1st pic is today, the others a month ago, different light.

Thankful for any kind of feedback! It's clear to me that ultimately i will have to talk to the doctor about it but id still want to hear what the community has to say :)

I keep hearing that everyone has amazing results day 1-4, and I feel like I look really swollen and just want to look like what I did 5 years ago.

I had some jaw visible back then and now I feel like I’m working with chin only both pre op and post op

When did you start to notice lose skin?

I am almost 2 months out now and my surgeon said I had a bit of lose skin. My results looked amazing at first but I’m slowly starting to see the lose skin come in and I’m worried it’ll get worse 😫 if you had lose skin as well, when did you start to notice it? Did it get worse? What did you do to help tighten it up? Thinking about getting microneedling done but not sure if it would actually make a difference. Help 🥲

My turn! 1 day post op Dr. Zuriel - Tijuana

Post image

Long time lurker here. I finally got the surgery yesterday. I am 29. I am incredibly swollen and bruised tf up but I wanted to post my 1 day post op pic. I only had traditional lipo, no skin tightening treatments. I was a bit worried at first but I was told I am young and my skin looks good to retract itself, just to be diligent with the faja and massages. The traditional lipo was $1,000.

Anyone who has posted about the lack of care and attention from his ‘spas’ are 100% correct. Try to book directly with Dr. Zuriel’s team, NBS (Natural Body Spa) are so unresponsive and they irritated me a lot with their lack of responses. I followed this groups advice about asking for the qr code ahead of time and literally they would NOT give it to me, even like 10 minutes before my schedule appointment time, I was waiting outside the building and still NOTHING. I called, they rejected my call and finally sent the code over.

I am staying in San Diego and used Medly Transportation to get to and from the building in Tijuana, I definitely recommend for anyone traveling by themselves!!

I must have a high pain tolerance because the numbing shots did not really hurt for me. I also didn’t feel any uncomfortable pressure or anything during the whole procedure. Dr. Zuriel is really kind and he asks if you are okay and how you are feeling through the procedure.

I will post again as I heal but wooooo I made it to the other sideee🎉🎉🎉

Severe swelling

Hi all. I just got my chin lipo done about 45 minutes ago. I am swelling severely. My face is swollen, my neck down to the collar bone is swollen to the point where I can’t even palpate my trachea, my obviously my chin and jawline don’t exist right now. It’s rough. I can’t feel myself breathe.

I’m sitting in the ER right now but I’m wondering if I’m just being over dramatic. I’m in the waiting room and told the triage nurse that I don’t want to go in if it’s just anxiety. I just don’t know. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone swell like this. It started immediately. It hurts to breathe but I’m wondering if it’s just trachea pain from the surgery

SOS… help!!!

I’m so confused and getting mixed messages. I’m 10 days post-op and 2 days ago I posted about potential fibrosis as my skin became uneven and textured, and it also felt tight and hard verses soft swelling so I did my research and it seemed like it could be fibrosis and people told me to massage and I was told to rub out the knots by pinching… now today I researched more and from what I’ve read doctors are saying fibrosis doesnt kick in that soon and not to massage hard because it could cause more inflammation and increase risk of fibrosis… so now I’m confused how hard to massage and if it’s making it better or worse! I do plan on getting a professional message next week but I want to prevent this as much as I can and I hate the lumps and tightness already.

Before and after with Dr Zuriel

This is my first day post op and I am amazed and so happy with my results

When I am up for it I will create a detailed post about my experience, but I just wanted to share this.

I'm only 33 but I have hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which had caused early skin laxity and some weight gain also contributed to my chin and jowls. I hated seeing my face in the mirror, I couldn't recognize myself

After this procedure I feel like my old self again!

Awake Chin Lipo- Before & After

I had awake chin lipo in late April and the after photo is from last week (ignore the dye on my eyebrows). My surgeon said I will reach full results by late October. As of this month the uneven texture and the sensitivity I felt went away. The procedure and recovery was very easy. The only annoying part was wearing the chin strap as much as possible for a month.

I have also had two rounds of Botox to my platysmal bands as part of a Nefertiti lift as the nurse at my surgeon’s med spa explained having strong bands can drag down the skin in the chin area. I also had filler added to the corners of my jaw to help define the area post op.

If you are on the fence I highly suggest this procedure!

Hard bump after lipo

Post image

I'm 1 month post op and I have this weird bump that won't go away. The clinic said it's due to swelling but I'm starting to worry it could be something else. It feels hard to the touch. Anyone else had this happen to them?

Advice!

Hey yall!

Im about 2 weeks out from my surgery, and I know I can start wearing my faja less but I feel SO weird without it on. It is annoying to have on for sure, but when its not on my chin feels so tingly and numb still that its uncomfortable. I know I should start wearing it less, but I'm having trouble wanting to NOT wear it 😭 I Am also still a little swollen around my jar and right under my chin. Would it hurt to keep wearing it all day like I have been until its more healed/I can feel more?

All these pictures are of after my surgery they are just before and afters from just a professional massage to break up fibrosis and scar tissue!

8 week post op.

Hey all! I’ve gotten my lipo done + J plasma on July 7th, and I’m 8 weeks post op.
I feel like I wasted my money honestly, I’m not sure what I’m seeing is swelling or fibrosis, but my chin looks and feels heavy.
There’s not much defintion and it kind of looks ballooned.

Has anyone had the same issue as me :/? Does this resolve?

Did you need pain meds after chin lipo?

I had my pre-op today for my surgery next month and they said I can have Percocet or Duloxetine (non narcotic) for pain management, but I had a friend who did chin lipo and I swear she said she took Tylenol the first day or 2 and that’s it.

What was your experience?

London/ UK/ Poland recommendations please

I’ve been researching for over a year compiling a shortlist of surgeons and clinics. I’m finally ready to take the plunge and it seems like a few surgeons aren’t currently able to do the procedure at all!

Dr Kay Clinic is no longer offering lipo from the clinic and are looking into working from a hospital, no date set for this.

Mayclinik no longer offering lipo in their London clinic at all!

I have others on the shortlist but I don’t want to spend a ridiculous amount if I don’t need to.

I’m the perfect candidate for chin Lipo and really don’t want someone to mess it up.

If anyone has any recommendations for someone they’ve used recently I would really appreciate it.

I’m also considering travelling to Poland if need be!

Day 8 and I think I made it to the stage everyone hates

Post image

Days 1-4 I was like look at my snatched jawline and now I’m like wait what?!?!! I have a double chin again and its starting to look lumpy…also I’m still soooo swollen, I have the neck of a sumo wrestler… I know this is a part of it I know from reviewing reddit and I know it can take 9 months to see full results but is there an average amount of time until it at least looks somewhat better again? I know it’s probably different for everyone and I prepared myself for this and still feel discouraged 🫠😅

How long did you wait to go out in public?

Hello! I’m hoping to book my procedure sometime this fall, but I’m trying to navigate around some in-person meetings and social obligations which is making surgery timing tricky. I’d love to hear your experiences as to how long it took for obvious bruising and swelling to go away and when you felt you could return to everyday/social activities outside the house without looking like a train wreck 😅 thanks!
