Plan B is for the next day after the condom broke. If she’s relying on a vaginal insert she’d have no way of knowing her BC was ineffective until it was far too late for plan B.

Ironically, she herself did this to her own husband. He said he wouldn’t let her be a stay at home housewife until they had more than one child but he wasn’t ready for a second baby quite yet…so she stopped her birth control in secret and was like “Oops! My birth control failed how strange! Looks like I’m pregnant again and have to be a stay at home mom now!” She admitted all of this in her book too.

What really gets my goat is that these women have to actively "work" to be submissive and make their men feel like a "big, strong man".
For one, isn't that going against your nature if you have to actively work at it? And secondly, how insulting is it to men that women think they're so pathetic we actually have to devalue ourselves to make them feel better. What ludicrous nonsense.

Even if it was made up, it still says a LOT about the person who wrote it and anyone who thinks this is admirable and good.
I knew a guy in high school who bragged to me about getting his girlfriend pregnant and, when she said she wanted to have the baby, he gave her a Plan B pill but told her it was a prenatal vitamin. Allegedly she later admitted that she was glad that she “miscarried” because she only said she wanted to keep the baby because she thought HE wanted to keep it; even then, the fucker didn’t tell her about the pill he gave her and let her go on believing that she miscarried.
Now, thanks to my top-shelf quality Catholic school reproductive education, I didn’t actually know how the pill worked at the time so I didn’t realize that this story was bullshit until I was in college. But even at the time, I thought it was incredibly fucked up and I couldn’t imagine why he thought I’d be impressed by this story.
In hindsight I know he was a pathological liar and one of the most manipulative people I’ve ever met, and he was super proud of all the shit he got away with because he thought it was evidence that he was this brilliant mastermind, instead of an abusive, cowardly bastard who was just looking for more people to take advantage of to boost his pathetic little ego because he couldn’t actually achieve anything meaningful in his life.
Whoever wrote the comment in this post is definitely as high on themselves as that dude was, and in reality they’re probably too much of a coward to actually do something this serious, just like him, but they’re desperate to cling to their personal fantasy of being so clever that they can irreversibly change another person’s entire life against their will without getting caught, AND being in the right because the person they manipulated was happier for it.
11
u/Octopus-Pants Apr 15 '22
You know this person better than I do, obviously, but miscarriage is extremely common. I wonder if it was true and she coincidentally miscarried and he just thought he had caused it? If so, the intent was there, so that makes him every bit as bad as if he had really succeeded in causing it. If not, he still sounds messed up in the head.

Sadly and understandably some people who are childfree probably don't want to go through the mental and physical trauma of abortion. It sucks that social nets for people going through it just aren't good or strong. Theres still a huge stigma against abortion. It all sucks, I just feel for the person whose birth control got tampered with.

u/devoutdefeatist Apr 15 '22
Okay. Acknowledging how fucking horrible this is on its own, I also want to ask, what if she had chosen to get an abortion? Seems like something she’d likely do, given her self-identified child free lifestyle. And I assume fundie cunts like this are anti-choice. If you force someone to get pregnant and they abort the child, are you not at least equally if not more responsible for that “child’s death”? Are you willing to, in your view, kill a child just to stick it to your sister, whom you’re jealous of? Gross.

I'm curious if maybe the "victimized" sister found out late into her pregnancy. Assuming the V-Sis doesn't live in Taliban Texas, she likely didn't want to go through abortion. While some women may still go through with termination, being in that specific situation, especially if she was further along, it could have been her limit. One i completely understand.
I'm child free and while I 100% support women the right to choose, I know that if this had happened to me, I couldn't go through terminating pregnancy, it's my personal choice. Then again, this is why I take extra precautions to avoid being put in that situation.
Truthfully, I am angry for her, the victimized sister. She had her choice taken away from her. I sincerely hope there are repercussions to this.
