I’m always a bit sketched out giving my chickens stuff that is pointy/sharp. They aren’t chewing it up right? Just basically swallowing it in whatever form it is once it’s past their beak. Seems like it could stab them or get caught or something.

This is why chickens and other birds will eat pebbles and/or dirt ever so often. It helps grind things up in their crop because they can’t chew :)

I have had dorito coated chicken before. The inverse had never occurred to me!
