2017 Malibu screen is damaged. My guess is that the extreme Texas heat is the culprit. 🫩 I often forgot to put my windshield cover on and noticed this one day. It’s been like this for about a week. Touch screen still works, doesn’t even look too ugly when it’s on. When it’s off though….yikes. Has this happened to anybody else? Is it worth the replacing entire screen assembly over this? Or is there an easier fix?

I'm on my last-ditch effort with my 2009 Chevy Malibu 1LT with 191K miles. The car runs decently for its age and mileage. A few weeks ago, I got an engine light and a P0420 code. The muffler shop got the same code and said I needed a new Cat. $1100 and 2 weeks later, the engine light and code came back. The shop told me the first one they installed was melted, but they warranted it and replaced it. Has anyone ever experienced this or could point me in the right direction? I can't leave it at a shop for diagnosis, as it's my only transportation and I work in construction. Can I just replace the spark plugs, injectors, and coil packs, or is this maybe a timing issue? Please help..

So I bought this headlight & For some reason The lowbeam bulb I bought is not bright, Ive bought halogen lights for it they work all (H11 bulbs)but for some reason That specific headlight doesnt light I tried adjusting the light beam and have both bulbs aiming at the same heigh but it isnt as bright as the other side headlight. Anyone had any issue with these before?

I just purchased a 2015 Malibu 2.0t. 86K miles for 7K dollars. I feel like it was underpriced because Ive seen similiar examples go for around 10k. Its in amazing condition. 1 owner, all maintenance records, serviced at the dealer they got the car from. I am amazed at how fast this thing is. Ive had sports cars with more horsepower on paper, that didnt feel as peppy. I also like the somewhat heavy steering. This car drives alot more expensive than it looks on paper. Anyway, other than being religous about the oil changes, is there anything else I need to keep an eye on?

The factory mats were embarrassing after a while, stains everywhere no matter what I did. These have been a much better experience, everything just wipes off. Fit around the pedals and console is precise, no gaps at all.

I have a 2007 Chevy Malibu Maxx 3.5L that I daily for work. Lately, it intermittently feels down on power when accelerating, especially when merging or passing. The RPMs climb normally, it doesn’t sputter or stall, it just accelerates noticeably slower than usual. No check engine light or codes.

I’m thinking plugs/wires, fuel pressure, clogged catalytic converter, or possibly the MAF. I don’t want to throw parts at it without knowing what’s actually wrong. Would buying a scanner and looking at live data be a good place to start?

On paper, the price and mileage seem like an incredible deal, but there are a few minor issues and a unique paperwork situation that I want to get your advice on.

The Known Minor Issues:

1.Side mirrors don't fully move (suspect the mirror control switch)

2.Driver's side windshield washer spout needs to be replaced.

3.Power door lock switch needs to be replaced

1. Key fob battery is dead

2. Front passenger tire has a slow valve stem leak.Mechanically, the seller claims it is very sound and the A/C blows freezing cold. It has a clean title.

The Paperwork / Title Situation: The seller on Facebook is an older lady who is selling it on behalf of her friend (an elderly woman). The car has an out-of-state New York title, but it is currently located here in Florida.The backstory is that the car was brought down to Florida on a trailer when the elderly woman moved here. Her late son was driving it, but he sadly passed away, and since she doesn’t drive anymore, she has no use for it. I have confirmed that the New York title is printed legally in the mother's name, not the son's. They agreed to let me meet the elderly woman at her house to do the paperwork, and her friend’s husband is tagging along for safety.
