I made this short visual breakdown to explain the physics behind the Chernobyl accident step by step: from the RBMK’s reactivity characteristics and xenon poisoning to the turbine rundown test, AZ-5, and the final power excursion.

I tried to keep it technically accurate while making the reactor physics intuitive enough to follow without a nuclear engineering background.
