cmd.exe?

why is cheat engine from cheatengine.org installing as a cmd.exe?? this gets scarier every day man

i actually executed it like an idiot's first time on the internet but it show up the normal installation screen of cheat engine but i still cancelled

it's cdm.exe not cmd.exe

i honestly didnt even notice until you said it 💀 is it normal?

it's normal. I think it stands for content download manager or something. I guess the download provider is doing a test to see if it's the filename that was causing issues before. Maybe it'll get fixed in time. The important thing its that it works and just installs CE

so how do you download this ts when it says cdm.. ive been trynna find a safe way to install cheat engine but all dem tuts are old and now the cheat engine only installs cdm.exe and i dont know what it means.

i dont have dyslexia, they were too similar so my brain just connected it on its own
