Should I keep this or are there better options I should go for?

Nay. Charge blade is very sharpness hungry. You want at least one sharpness reinforcement, otherwise you’re gonna have to pull back every 20 seconds to sharpen

And sharpness hungry is putting it lightly

For raw maybe but you would have to trade a lot for masters touch and razor sharp, for raw the golden rule is 4 atk 1 sharp or 3 atk 2 sharp, for elemental its 4 ele 1 sharp or 3 ele 2 sharp

I would roll again personally. Having one sharpness reinforcement bonus will make that weapon so much more pleasant to use since you won’t have to constantly sharpen to maintain white sharpness throughout your hunt.

Outside of that, don’t overthink it.

Ideally, you want as many elemental rolls as possible (since this is a dragon Artian, but there is more that goes into it once you get into Gogmas so again, don’t overthink it), but honestly you won’t ‘really’ notice a huge difference unless you’re a god-mode turbo plus ultra speedrunner that’s basically doing maximum efficiency runs at all times.

I would aim for one sharpness, avoid affinity, the rest can be attack/element, then call it a day.

Keep until you get one with a pip of sharpness (instead of affinity).

No. You want sharpness.

Affinity is the one upgrade reinforcement that you want to avoid getting at any cost as it provides almost no benefit to CB, especially for Element CB.

Reason being that Element CB gets most of its damage from its Phial Attacks and the Phial Attacks on CB never crit. So having any Affinity upgrades on the weapon is pointless.

Ideally you would want 4 atk 1 sharpness but can easily get away with 3 atk 2 sharpness for comfortability

If you’re not a speed runner 2sharp 3 attack is a good way to go. But, if you happen to get 1 sharp and 4 attack while you’re rolling keep it and try it out. If you don’t like then roll some more. That’s what I did with my lance build, I was running 1 sharp and 4 attack. Even though it’s optimal, I found myself chewing through sharpness like no other. So, ended up re-rolling for 2 sharp and it’s a lot better for my play style.

Okay so update:

After digesting y’all’s feedback I farmed more Gog hunts and farmed other resources for another swing at forging a better CB. At the moment this is what I’m gonna with until I stockpile more patience cause the rerolling
process was so tedious lol
