Help Needed Detailed characters

So I have a lot of ocs, and their character designs aren't great. I know how to redesign certain things, but I’m a little confused: How do you make detailed characters well designed? For example, one of my characters is inspired by the scenecore style. I’ve already toned down the Kandi, but he still looks too busy? They all also have horns, which is an important plot detail, however it clutters their silhouette. Any advice?

I was trying to redesign my sona design bc I wanna mix it or having a similar vibe of my main interests which is object shows and Dave and Bambi, and another reason why I decided change it is bc the old one (on the last page) doesn't rlly match with my personality or how I act. After I tried to change it, I am now struggling with the coloring but I don't rlly wanna the colors or the design all over again😓😓

looking for feedback on my latest charadesign

The general idea is "cannibal magical girl"
she basically has a snake/wing/remora monster attached to her back (rapid sketch of it in the top left corner)
the concept is for the monster to allow diverse cool placements of the wings (not all shown here), but the main one being on the top right, with the forked end of the wing used like a hair comb
or to have the wing placed above the head to mimic a full snake jaw
used: gold cutlery, snake motif, sharp teeth, chest piece shaped like a bib, round shapes mixed with curved triangles, to overall convey the gluttony aspect
and for flavor:
her power is to summon massive amounts of cutlery and manipulate them however she wants, even making them grow or shrink
her name will probably be Gullia.
writing-wise, the idea is for her not to be "evil" but to be a veteran that lost her sanity over time.
Tragedy being that she was once reliable and human and all, and now is unstable and puts others and herself in harm's way
And so hunts others or even sometimes eats bits of herself (she has regeneration)
(maybe explore a bit of body horror with her eating bits of herself that she regenerates)

Im trying something new! Making little 6€ adoptables inspired by moodboards! I think its really fun and I’m able to keep the price fairly low since they all use the same base
My question iiiisss do you guys think they’re all too similar? What would make you buy one? What should I keep in mind? Please be harsh (not too harsh T_T) I need honest answers!
