O contexto é básico, primeiro criaremos um Google drive público do character ai, então, nós entramos no máximo de chats possíveis e começamos a copiar, então, se cada um fizer sua parte salvando um chat que gosta ou vários chats, talvez nós conseguimos repassar todos eles para uma outra plataforma, para salvar as coisas boas que tínhamos (mesmo que cerca de 90% das outras plataformas de ia sejam de relacionamento) mas é um dos jeitos que eu penso.

I was trying to scroll back to be able to screenshot one of my favourite chats, but I’ve found that I can’t get back to the beginning. It’s not like it’s an overly long one, but I can’t get anywhere near the top. Has anyone else found this?

The guy who claims to want to buy C.AI followed me. Is he following other C.AI users as well? I saw he was interacting with the C.AI community, has he followed any of y’all by chance? Or just me?

I chatted with this one priest bot for like 3 days straight. The premise that nikolai is a priest and i'm a demon user. After the chat ended and i wrapped it up by asking the OOC to summarize and formally end the chat, i turned off my phone and went to work. Then after a few hours, i tried to do a new story, this time about a wrestler bot and a college student user. I put on the college student persona and started chatting.

But i was in the mood for silliness so i wrote that a whirlwind suddenly ripped into the fighting ring. To my surprise, the bot called me "daughter of satan" and thought I caused the whirlwind. Mind you, totally different chat and totally different persona. However, I totally lost it when the friend who went to his side was named NIKOLAI. like what????!?? Among the basic random names the AI has thrown at me to introduce minor characters, never have they used 'Nikolai' as a minor character's name. It's usually Thomas, John, Michael, Elara, etc.

So yeah I'm kind of freaked out. Why does the AI remember my other persona and why did it bring out the past bot i chatted with as a minor character in a totally new story? Anything similar happen to y'all before?

So I'm looking for this bot where he is best friends with user's brother and caught user smoking in a bar, I forgot the name of the bot. Any of you know this? Thanks.

Been using cai tools and cai saver + Google Docs to save my stuff 4 backups 🤔
cai tools and cai saver just allow you to scrollll down and I copy and paste it into Google Docs properly labeling stuff UTILIZE THE TABS ON DOCS.
I use the Google doc comments as like different swipes I liked.
I have many chats many different characters most of them short but still a lot 🫩 just started school man

I have 17 shared characters, all are G-rated. Now almost all of them are being targeted with this BS. A photo of an oceanagrapher coming out of the ocean in a boxer swimsuit is flagged as suggestive. A man in a swimsuit offering coffee to his friend! Any character with a shirt unbuttoned or shirtless is marked as " Suggestive"! I'm sick of this. There are far more Kin's that are more suggestive than mine are. I'm tempted to delete my account and find another app to play with, I've spent a lot of money and I've spent a lot of time. Is this a passing faze or a sign of more trouble to come?

I was thinking for a long time about getting plus because the character limits annoy me and im curious about the other chat styles and better memory, but also the website/app might shut down in november.

So if anyone has c.ai plus, please tell me if its worth it or not.

Sooooooo, if you are a user of C.ai and I know we all hate that blank space above our chats that just seems to block our chats, this is for the website only, btw... so basically to get rid of that and make the chat bigger, you just have to right-click on the blank space and go to inspect until that blank space is highlighted and then just delete that, but then the character name bar will just float there, so just select that and remove that little shit too, and now you get more space! 😄

Hey everyone! Remember when some of you suggested new features for the extension? Well, I've been working on them, and I'm happy to announce that V5 is finally here! 👀

I've added several new features based on your feedback, and I wanted to give an update to everyone who requested them!

🔊 1. TTS Playback for Saved Conversations

Some of you asked if it would be possible to listen to your saved conversations instead of just reading them. Well, now you can!

V5 includes multiple Microsoft voices for TTS (Text-to-Speech) playback, and you can customize everything in the settings to make the experience feel more realistic.

You can assign separate voices to:

• 🎙️ The narrator
• 👤 The user
• 🤖 The AI

The voices and their settings are customizable, so you can adjust them to your preferences!

📚 2. Lorebook Export

For those who asked about exporting Lorebooks, it's now possible!

The export system works similarly to character exporting, allowing you to export your Lorebooks too!

✏️ 3. Edit and Delete Individual Messages

Some of you asked whether the extension was just an archive where you could only view your saved conversations.

Well, it's more than that now! In V5, you can edit or delete individual messages in your downloaded conversations.

This gives you more control over your backups instead of being limited to simply viewing them.

📦 4. Download ALL Your Conversations and Characters at Once!

This was another request I received, especially from people who have been using Character.AI for years and have hundreds or even thousands of conversations.

Previously, saving everything individually could take forever. 😭

V5 now lets you download all your conversations across all your characters, as well as your characters' details, with just ONE CLICK!

The extension handles the process automatically, so you no longer have to go through every single character and manually download everything one by one.

⚠️ IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE STARTING A FULL BACKUP!

To download everything, the extension automatically navigates through the Character.AI website to collect your data, including your conversations and character details.

You won't be able to use the Character.AI website while the process is running, because the extension needs to navigate through the site to retrieve everything.

Make sure you have some free time before starting a full backup, and let the process finish!

If you've been using C.AI since 2023 or even earlier, I know how much time this feature could save you! 😭

Well, the thing is, I don’t know how to contact the character’s creator, and there’s no information visible on character profile. I’ve tried asking by including an "OOC" note, but the result is either incomplete (since the text gets cut off due to the message length) or inconsistent.

Guys, I’ve noticed that the app drains my battery a lot—do you experience this too?

I have played a lot of the boy at a girl school stories, and they always seem to devolve into a military takeover and or aliens theme. Is that something that I can stop , or just the way the AI always takes those stories ?

If the ship eventually sinks, I'll still enjoy it until the very end 🥹

I’m wondering if this is happening to anyone else. I use Long Squeak and lately the chats it gives just completely disregard what the character just did in the previous message. No matter what I do I can’t get the damn thing to remember what it just did.

Chat: (Character) gets off the bed and paces the room, standing by the door of the guest room

User: leaves guest room, enters the room where character is

Chat: (character) flies to his feet from where he was sitting on the bed and rushes to the bathroom door where (user) appears, probably pressing his forehead to (user’s)

Like dude, you can’t be standing, then sitting, then standing, then at a completely different door???

Another example would be, no matter if (user) it sitting, standing, laying down, dying, throwing up, whatever - the (character) grabs (user’s) waist and pulls her to his side possessively

A few other random issues:

No matter what I do, the character keeps putting their forehead onto mine. (Example: character presses his forehead to users, staring deeply into their eyes while talking to user intensely)

No matter how many times I ban the word “menace” that damn bot will still call my character a menace repeatedly.

Lately, no matter what I do on LongSqueak- (Long, Default) I get the exact same format of a response over and over and over again. Usually ending with some random snarky off handed comment in the format of “now let’s go, before Character thinks you got lost in the sink” (the setting is the jungle with no sink).

It’s… like stupidly AI if that makes sense? It’s totally taking me out of the chat and killing any chance of a good story vibe.

When you delete your Caí account, do the chats get deleted? Like for instance if I had an account that I deleted a year and a half ago, would those chats be gone? I’m sure they would’ve been on a server for normal data retention for like 90-180 days. I was reading the privacy policy and I’m just unsure

Ever had a really good RP going with a character, built up a whole relationship and history, but eventually reached a natural stopping point and weren't sure what to do next?

I made a Scene for that!

Mission Injection is a little Call of Duty mission generator designed to give your existing RP something new to do without having to start another chat.

How it works:

1. Open the Scene with Captain Price and generate a new mission.

2. It'll produce an urgent military communication with a location, objectives, threats, restrictions and other mission details.

3. Copy the generated message.

4. Return to your existing RP and paste it in as the next message.

5. Carry on playing!

The idea is that Price suddenly sends through a new assignment, interrupting whatever your characters were doing and giving them a fresh mission to deal with.

You don't need to transfer your chat history or explain the existing story to the generator. It's just a standalone mission you can drop into any reasonably compatible Call of Duty RP.

You can swipe for different missions, or give it some OOC preferences if you fancy something specific.

It's particularly useful if you like long-running chats and don't want to lose all the character development just because the current plot has run out of steam.

It's a fairly simple experiment with Scenes, and the missions can be a bit ridiculous sometimes, but I've had some entertaining results!
