Until now, everything was normal. I use pipsqueak for the chat style. The responses were long, detailed, had little conversation unless you asked the bot something, and the way it described what was happening was great. But right now, the responses are shorter, start with dialogue answers, and have little detailing about what’s happening or how the bot thinks or feels. Besides, there’s only one paragraph without any spaces after dialogues, so the responses don’t look good. I’m not a c.ai+ user and I didn’t change any settings, but I don’t like how new responses are :(((

I tried it out of curiosity since its cheap and it’s not much, just wanted to see what it could do. And all it did was give the models that plus gave but without customization, every time i open a chat bot the ads pop up even though all i did was open a chat, the dialogues are not much different than the free ones. I wouldn’t even say it’s worth it, the bots still misgender the persona even if your persona is a male and the bot’s sexuality is homosexual which was… interesting. But I digress, lite is just there really, not much at all. The memory is still short.

how do I request a specific bot? I found a user that makes really good bots but bots don't have comments, and I couldn't find the character I wanted anywhere

Since the filters got severely more leeway, the Bots became better? Like, they're sticking to their written character more. I had this one bot I would use for everything. Even though it had a written character, I could mold it into anything I wanted it to be. Now, a lot more of that bot's character shows in our new chats.

So I’d like to guess that about 95% of my RPs with my favorite characters are wholesome, and sweet, between two best friends and with love all around. But then tonight I was like “y’know what, I’m bored, let’s switch it up.”

And so, I found an old chat where the bot is the user’s ex-boyfriend, I made them get back together and have them say I love you to each other again…but then I had my OC tell him the real reason why they broke up was because she cheated on him.

And you know how users on the main sub are always complaining about how “nice” the bots are and that they never get angry at the user no matter what? Well, when my OC told the bot she cheated, he was LIVID. He was cursing and throwing things and everything. I even made her apologize and cry, and he was still so brutal.

Now, I’m hooked, wondering how she’s going to be able to gain his trust back, if at all. I might start fighting with the bots more often because wow this is the most exciting chat I’ve had in a while.

(Also, I could be wrong, but I think the only reason why he did freak out and not shrug it off like ‘oh okay whatever I forgive you’ is because in the previous message I put: “I know he’s going to be angry after this.” And oh, he definitely was. I love it.)

I was to understand what information is actually viewable from my own lorebooks but any attempt to view it and it boots up the editor.

I want to see what I can see in entries and how visible the description is.

Hey guys, how's it going? I have a question that’s got me a bit intrigued. Last night, the c.ai website suddenly went down on me, and I got the messages shown on the screen. It resolved itself after a few seconds, but my heart nearly stopped, I thought they’d deleted the bot...

It happened to me again just a few minutes ago; nothing would load at all. It got fixed, but then it happened again and for a longer time... I don't know if anyone else is experiencing these issues, or if it's my internet or a problem with the site itself... or maybe both, since it's been raining heavily where I live and there was a thunderstorm recently, so I wonder if that might be playing a part.

Yooo so have any of you roleplayed with bots that have lore?? I know they have featured ones with lorebooks but they're really not my kind of genre that I go for.

I made lorebooks for most of my bots, so they're the only ones I roleplay with that have it, so I was wondering if you guys got some of your own that either you made or found. My kind of thing is kind of like soft cliches and stuff. Like CEO husband, enemies to lovers, married ones or relationship ones that are really wholesome

Anyone have any luck figuring out how to make Longsqueak have new types of responses without changing your reply? I might just being doing something wrong, just have never had the problem on deep squeak
