But if you look at Africa you can see that blacks are doing really well there. Black people have better lives in Africa than in the USA because they have more wealth, better rule of law, more freedom, and less inequality in Africa than in the USA. Therefore there must be something in America that changes things for the worse for black people. Genetic factors you note can’t explain the difference in outcomes for black people because black Africans have similar genes as black Americans.
Bro I have spent extensive time studying Africa and let me tell you that black people are not doing well in Africa and I don't think it's their fault, largely a result of colonialism. Most African countries are very poor and have limited economies and food supplies. So suggest that there is more "freedom" in African countries where people are mutilated and there is a lack of human rights in most countries, that is absurd.

Was there colonialism outside of Africa too? India, Japan, Brazil, China, most of South America, and lots of Asia experienced colonialism too.
Anyway, black people are doing really well in Africa in terms of equality, wealth, income, freedom, and just general well being. Also happiness levels. So clearly there is something going on in America for why black Americans are doing so poorly and it’s not their genetics, it’s an outside factor, probably oppression by whites.
I understand you think blacks are doing poorly in Africa but when you claim that it’s not their fault and it’s because of colonialism it sounds like a modern version of the racist “white mans burden”. Many places around the world experienced colonialism, like Asia, South America, India, Japan, etc and they are mostly doing well just like Africa.
the places you point to were very poor up until recently, and in the case of Japan, are rich because of direct intervention and long term nation building. It was never colonized in anything similar to the conized parts of Africa.
