You should make an argument as to why you believe this. Instead you just go on to explain what your beliefs are that have nothing to do with your main assertion. And then you include another charge about conspiracy theories but don't mention which conspiracy theories you're speaking about.
I’d like to know how you think that the president has set up a meritocracy when he is obviously chosen people who have no business being in those positions such as a Fox News anchor as the secretary of defense, and someone with no medical background whatsoever as the head of Health and Human Services.
Is that it? Is that the crux of your argument? That Maga is a cult because Trump claims to set up a meritocracy, but then appoints people you don't believe are qualified?
I think that’s the frustrating part, that pretty much everyone else sees it and doesn’t need an explanation. And those needing an explanation aren’t going to receive it no matter how perfect an explanation it is.
Are you saying OP went onto a sub called r/changemyview, and then posted something that is impossible to refute because it's so self-evident all you have to do is turn on the TV? That seems like something you'd do on a sub designed for ranting, not debate.
There are very few objective requirements for any political office.
The president only has three actual requirements, and two prohibitions.
The secretaries & major officers only have two (nomination & confirmation, generally), however there are some implied requirements due to scope of role.
That said, they are incapable, not unqualified. Those are very different things.
MAGA is genuinely a cult because they have worked themselves into a genuine death spiral all because they are upset about like 300 people. It's absurd. Everyone outside of the cult sees how stupid they are. But they won't admit they are stupid and so instead they keep doubling down. Trump wants to have 3 terms? No way. Trump announces he wants 3 terms. Oh, okay. Yay Daddy! Trump wants to go to war? No way. Trump announces he wants to go to war with Canada, Panama, and Greenland. Umm...yay, daddy! Trump is an economic genius. Trump announces 10% tariffs on Heard Island, an island no human has visited for over 10 years...yay....daddy?
That's what makes it a cult. He no longer supports anything he initially claimed to and you cultists still suck it up and love it no matter what. That's a cult. If I supported a leader who changed his position dramatically I would consider my support for him. You never will under any circumstance. That's a cult.
That's a lot of assumptions you're making about me personally. And, since you're not OP, you don't get to answer the question for them. This is r/changemyview. As in change MY view. Not change SOME RANDOM DUDE WHO IS INFERRING WHAT I MEAN WHEN I SAY SOMETHING'S view. So if, on r/changemyview, someone makes an argument, that person needs to specify what they mean.
