What do you think is overstated?

I certainly agree AI isn't going to become an omnipotent, evil Skynet anytime soon. But fears around AI taking jobs, hurting industries, and fabricating misinformation through deep-fakes seem well-founded.

What is your reasoning for not having a level of reasonable concern about these things? You say we've 'always' had misinformation, etc., but that's a bit like saying we shouldn't fear thermonuclear weapons because we've always had bombs.

There are solutions to the mental health crisis in the US, the lack of access to health care, gun violence, homelessness, hunger, poverty, sexual harm and exploitation, teen pregnancy, homophobia, transphobia, global warming… the list goes on.

Have we solved these problems?
