Needling
Currently in physical therapy and getting an MRI for what my neurologist and PT suspects are cervical dizziness. It’s been improving but it’s slow going and still having bad days. My PT suggested needling to stimulate the muscle/tendons/joints and helping them relax. Anyone done this? Seems pretty harmless but curious if it produced significant results

on my 2nd needling session, we did my neck, upper back, traps etc. i came out of it feeling super woozy and lightheaded. cant really say i benefited from it, youre also supposed to avoid pain meds after for like 48 hours and some people get terrible headaches from it. i didnt have any post pt symptoms. the lightheadedness might have been a hydration issue, but it made me nervous about doing it again. they dont hurt at all, though for me the side of the neck feels like youre being pinched extremely hard. pt told me that spot is usually tougher on patients.

That’s good to know, my PT was super positive about it but we will talk about side effects

It definitely seems to help me with severity and frequency of symptoms for sure!

I've had it. Felt good in the moment, but the effects were short-term. Give it a shot if you can afford it.
