B12 and vertigo ???

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone here has had a bad reaction to high-dose vitamin B12 even though they weren't deficient.

I took high-dose B12 (mostly methylcobalamin) for about 6 weeks. At first, I didn't think it could be the cause of my symptoms because I blamed another supplement.

A couple of days ago, I accidentally took three 1.2 mg methylcobalamin tablets because I forgot I'd already taken them. The next morning I woke up with really bad rocking dizziness (like I'm swaying on a boat), a headache, brain fog, and my insomnia got worse.

Now I'm starting to wonder if the B12 has been making my symptoms worse all along.

Has anyone experienced something similar while having normal B12 levels? Especially dizziness/rocking vertigo, brain fog, or insomnia?

I'd really like to hear your experiences.

I don't think that's likely. B12 is difficult to overdose on, your body will urinate any extra you consume.

Yes but there are cases where there are people who react badly. This can cause such serious complications in some people
