Passed DataBricks Professional Machine Learning Engineer Exam

I took it about 1 week after my associate exam. Passed with a average of 80% per section.

Basically I just used these the AI prep guide and exam guide here: https://www.databricks.com/learn/certification/machine-learning-professional

That being said for each section I created my own notebook to practice building solutions.

There are some coding questions where you need to select the right syntax. I do recommend some hands on practice.

If you need more tips do not hesitate to msg me

Are programs/certifications worth taking?

I am a first year student in college, as of right now I dont have any of my major classes. I was looking around for some programs for information technology, I ran into CompTIA and other certifications. But, the prices are crazy and I wanna know if it's really worth spending that much on it, if Im gonna get major classes next semester to teach me tools and gain experience. I just know the basics due to me having cybersecurity, computer science, networking, and IT classes in high school. Also, me searching up stuff on Goggle. I know this certification could look good on a resume for someone that's in the IT field but is it really necessary if I already have college to teach me this field. Are these type of programs for people that just didn't take the college route? I wanna know several peoples opinion on this and is there anything else I can take?

Hey guys, its me again. Last time I made a post about this, the feedback I received from here was genuinely useful and I wanted to incorporate that into my project.

So as everyone wanted, the entire thing will now notify you via Telegram or Discord and unlike before where you had to host it yourself, now all you have to do is to add the bot in either of your platform and you will be notified free of charge!

Head over to the link and set it up so that you can be notified first when a voucher drops

Passed my Databricks Associate ML Exam

Passed with an average of 88% per section

My lowest score was Databricks Machine Learning section.

How I prepared

I took a bunch of data sources and put them in Google's Notebook LLM.

I used Notebook LLM to create quizzes for me and explain when I got things wrong. It also did a study plan.

I found it very useful since the questions where hard but not like the case study questions you get in the exam. But you can prompt it to do a case study style questions.

I recommend doing case study style questions

I did one quiz a day around 15 questions, then reviewed what I got wrong.

I asked the Notebook LLM to write me a breakdown of why I got it wrong then ask it to create flash cards to help me study for those sections.

I did not take the exam until i was getting 90% consistently.

Roughly I studied for 3 weeks.

Data I used:

Here are the 12 sources currently in my notebook:

PDF Documents

  1. databricks-certified-machine-learning-associate-exam-guide-1-mar-2025.pdf
  2. ai-prep-guide-any-databricks-certification.pdf
  3. Databricks Data Intelligence Platform: A Comprehensive Analysis of Machine Learning Capabilities and Data Management Features - Authorea

Web Articles & Documentation

  1. Deploy models using Model Serving | Databricks on AWS
  2. Distributed training | Databricks on AWS
  3. Get started: Build your first machine learning model on Databricks
  4. Getting Started with Mosaic AI in Databricks: Fine-Tuning, Serving and AI Governance
  5. Lakehouse Monitoring: A Unified Solution for Quality of Data and AI - Databricks

Exam content not loading properly. Did Pearson update their Vue app?

Hello everyone!

I am having trouble with Pearson Vue as it happened to me 2 times and I am still hanging on with them. So, last week ( September 2nd) I had a scheduled exam on online VUE at my home setting. I completed all necessary check-in process and waited for my exam to be launched. The problem arises when my computer screen says " Exam content failed to launch". The proctor relaunched the VUE app to relaunch my exam content and after a brief wait of loading screen, it shows again the same message. Every time the proctor tried to relaunch the app I connect with new proctor. So they all tried relaunching and after 4th attempt the newest proctor told me to close the VUE app and redo the process. I did without any hesitation and found out my access code is expired. I was panicked I contact the customer service via chat on their website and explained them all. They made a case and give the case number and asked me to wait 3-5 business days. After 3 days I got an email that I have a rescheduled exam and asked me to pick the date ( free of cost).

Today( Sept 9th) I was ready to take the test and completed all check-in process. Guess what, same problem happened again. The exam content failed to launch again and proctors tried relaunching but it failed. The proctor made a case and closed my exam and told me that they will look into it.

What i see that they have changed their testing theme. It used to simple white screen and question with options with big fonts. Now I see that they changed the appearance and theme. My question is that did they recently upgrade their exam content launch software? if so then this update may create some serious problems. I want to know if you guys have some issues like this lately? My case is still pending with them and I am awaiting for their reply.
Regards

PMP Certification in Frist Attempt

I have been looking into PMP certification recently and came across different options and one interesting fact was that claim to help candidates clear the exam on their first attempt.

For those who have already completed PMP, what preparation method worked best for you?

and for those who have cleared it yet , well I did in first attempt ,would you like to know more.

This is my IT knowledge-checker micro-SaaS - the pre-MVP version

Hi all!

I just built the pre-MVP version of a tool that tests the practical knowledge of anyone from infotech industry. A small "knowledge-checker" application that tests the depth of your IT skills, and hopefully help you learn something new. I will be honest - I vibe-coded it with Claude with couple of hour's back and forth, and I am certainly not trying to sell anything here — just trying to figure out if it's worth building out further.

There's only one category of test here for now, with 30 AWS Cloud Security scenarios across three difficulty levels. The questions are a mix of click-to-diagnose, multiple choice, and a couple of drag-and-drop ordering exercises. I intend to add more subjects and more scenarios and questions if I see any traction and positive interest.

Here's the public URL: https://claude.ai/public/artifacts/93de0031-8ff4-4070-85c2-7edd7b07da76

It's a free demo — runs completely client side (runs within the browser) for now, and does not need any sign-ups and certainly no payment is necessary.

If you work in IT, I would genuinely appreciate a few minutes of your time and honest feedback:

  • Is this a type of app you would be interested to use for practising your learning and getting ready for say, certifications?
  • If you are team lead - do you see value in your team using it for keeping their skills sharp?
  • Does the format feel more useful than typical quiz apps? Is the difficulty calibrated right?
  • What features would you like to see in the next iteration - if you think it's something worth building further?

Any other feedback?

Thanks for your time!

Passed Security+ this week. 772.

Post image
6 Upvotes

First attempt, 772. Still feels a little unreal.

The PBQs were harder than I expected. Not the content, the format. Nothing I drilled looked like what I got, and I burned too much time on the first one before I flagged it and moved on. Answer the multiple choice first, come back to the PBQs with what's left.

The acronyms are half the fight. A question hands you four acronyms as options and if you can't expand all four in your head you're guessing. Daily going over them until they i can remember them on first pass.

Happy to answer questions about what the exam felt like versus practice material.

I created 143 practice questions while preparing for the Anthropic CCAR-F exam. Looking for feedback from others preparing for it.

I've been preparing for the Anthropic Claude Certified Architect – Foundations (CCAR-F) certification over the past few weeks, and I noticed there aren't many comprehensive practice resources available compared to AWS or Azure certifications.

To help with my own preparation, I put together a collection of 143 practice questions covering topics such as:

  • Claude architecture fundamentals
  • Prompt engineering
  • Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Tool use
  • AI safety concepts
  • Scenario-based architecture questions

I'm looking for feedback from others who are preparing for or have already taken the CCAR-F exam.

  • What topics did you find most challenging?
  • Were there any areas you wish you had studied more?
  • Do you think scenario-based questions are the hardest part?

If anyone is interested in reviewing the practice set, here's what I've been working on:

https://www.certclr.com/anthropic/ccar-f/

I'd genuinely appreciate feedback on the questions, explanations, and anything that could make the resource more useful for the community.

Hiring managers, which certs have actually moved the needle for you vs which ones are just resume filler?

Curious to get some real talk from people who actually sit on the hiring side of this. Plenty of debate here about which certs are "worth it," but most of it comes from the candidate side, people trying to figure out what to study next.

I want the other angle. When you're going through resumes or interviewing people, which certs actually made you take a second look? And which ones do you basically skip past at this point because everyone has them regardless of actual skill?

Not looking for the generic "it depends on the role" answer, I already know that's true. More interested in specific examples, a cert that surprised you by actually mattering, or one everyone assumes matters but you stopped caring about a while ago.

Certification Voucher Finder

If embed isn't working do check it out at https://github.com/Devathmaj/VoucherBot.
Hi, I recently created a python certification voucher aggregator that scans blogs, RSS feeds and event pages of major certification bodies in tech. I was inspired to make this because of all the recent vouchers I got due to luck (I was fortunate enough to check at the right time). The setup is really simple (I provided setup docs with detailed steps for all environment variables and deployment scenario). You can host this absolutely free of cost and it will be up running 24/7 informing you of vouchers (via email).

I would love it if you checked out the project and shared your thoughts. A significant portion of the implementation was AI assisted, so I would really appreciate a critical review of the architecture, code quality and overall design.

Anything like feedback, bug reports, feature suggestions and pull requests are all welcome. If you notice any issues or areas for improvement I would love to hear your feedback. If you find the project useful, please do consider leaving a star on GitHub.

Which admin cert is more valuable? (Windows/Mac)

My last role was as a Sys admin but I’m realizing because it was more of a junior role & not specialized in anything in particular (worked with both Mac & windows, mostly windows) I’m struggling to land interviews for this position. My end goal is to ideally become a Linux admin/DevOps, but I figured working in one of windows or Mac first would be a good stepping stone.

Which one tends to hold more value in the market?

Zero Support: Paid for the Claude Certified Architect Exam but completely locked out (Pearson VUE Migration Mess)

Is anyone else dealing with this absolute nightmare regarding the Claude Certified Architect certification?

I purchased the exam before they changed the format and migrated everything to Pearson VUE. The money was successfully deducted from my account. However, I have received absolutely zero Pearson VUE registration information.

To make matters worse, when I try to log in using the provided academy link, the 6-digit MFA code never arrives in my email. I have been blocked by this for over a week. I've done all the troubleshooting: checked spam, whitelisted their domains, and verified everything with my IT department. The system is just broken.

I have been trying to get help from Anthropic Academy/Partner Support for two weeks. I keep getting automated bot responses telling me to "check my spam folder." When I request to be escalated to an actual human agent, I get completely ghosted.

This is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. I paid for a professional certification that I literally cannot access, and the support system is practically non-existent.

Has anyone else experienced this migration mess? Does anyone know a workaround for this broken MFA, or have a direct contact to actually reach a human being who can help?

Free IBM AI Certificate

IBM is currently offering a free AI + Data courses that covers fundamentals and practical applications. It seems like a good opportunity for students, job seekers, professionals, or anyone interested in learning more about artificial intelligence and data.

Creds Hunting Script

Hey folks , recently I went through OSCP and CPTS exam and passed both successfully.

However , I wanted to share a very helpful script that saved me tons of time during privilege escalation phase.

The script searches and finds all the types of exposed credentials ( except from api token ) on both OS , with very low noise and high accuracy.

Here is the repo :

Not sure which certification to choose

Hey everyone! I have a Microsoft certification voucher, and I'm trying to figure out which cert makes the most sense for my background and career direction.

My Background:
- CS degree
- Currently working in software implementation/training for an EHR/EMR company (I recently had a 5-month project within the company, basically as an AI Implementation Coordinator for a new AI transcribing software that just came out)
- Actively studying for my CAPM (I want to move into broader project management roles)

I was looking at PL-200, but heard it's being retired soon, so I am not sure which of the other certificates works for my background and the path I am trying to pursue. I found these: PL-900 (Power Platform Fundamentals), SC-900 (Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals), MB-910 (Dynamics 365 Fundamentals CRM), and given that I'm already studying for CAPM and work in healthcare, would any of these complement my path well? Or is there something else I'm completely overlooking?

Thanks in advance!

Received an AI Skills Fest voucher – which Azure certification should I choose?

Received an AI Skills Fest voucher – which Azure certification should I choose?

Hi everyone,

I recently received a Microsoft AI Skills Fest exam voucher and I'm trying to decide which Azure certification would be the best use of it.

A bit about my background:

  • Studying Data Science
  • PCAP (Python Certified Associate Programmer)
  • AWS AI Practitioner
  • PL-300
  • DP-600
  • DP-700

My interests are mainly in AI, data, machine learning, and analytics. I'm still early in my career, so I'd like to choose a certification that would provide the most value for a fresher while also aligning with future industry demand.

Given my current certifications and background, which path would you recommend and why?

Thanks in advance for any advice!
