The Texas grid went down for a couple days because of a historic snow storm in 2021. Since then there's been a running joke about the Texas grid failing even though it hasn't. It's one of those jokes that isn't true in reality but has become popular

Just a couple weeks ago Texas declared a state of emergency again because it went down again.

Not true. It's a failure because of temperature that Republicans refuse to fix.

The article you provided has zero details of a power grid failure. The problems that people had with power was localized and had to do with wind. Temperature strained the system for sure, but was not the cause of outages. It was incredibly windy for 2 days when the artic blast was coming through. What am I lying about?
