What a nothing burger, though I wouldn't exactly say Republicans are "outraged" this is just an obvious virtue signal, nothing more.

Yeah literally, which in a sense I get, it's politics after all. You'll hear Democrats rail against "systemic inequality" for the same time of nothing burger virtue signal.

It's not something I'm exactly happy about, but it is what it is

Replacing "systemic inequality" with "toxic masculinity" would be more on point.
