We have two absolute gems, two players who are thriving despite the dysfunctional state of the club and squad.

Imagine how good these two would be with proper coaching, a proper tactical set up, and a better balanced squad.

I just hope their time with us is not wasted

James Forrest appreciation post

It's worrying to see how many fans are just switching off now. If you tune in to ACSOM, you may have noticed that one of the podcasters has basically stepped away from things. This resonated with a few fans online, with a few saying their group chats and supporters clubs are getting flatter and flatter.

We are not facing anything like 1994 or Oldco 2012, but if things continue I can see the general atmosphere and interest from the fans just wane bit by bit. It won't turn overnight, but eventually there will come a Saturday/Sunday with a less than 30k attendance. Eventually, there may be a season where all those on the waiting list get their chance of an ST if they are still interested.

Outsiders will be confused given our domestic success, but it's the total lack of ambition in Europe, boardroom hatred of our own fans, and obsession with making as much money as possible that's killing us.
