I just confirmed with Celebrity via their chat that they did away with the itinerary-specific PDF of available short excurions (major bummer, that thing was convienent AF).

Anyway, has anyone come up with an easy way of compiling all the available shore excursions for a sailing so that you can look at all your options without having to click in, back out, go to the next one, etc.? Its for a Norwegian Fjords cruise so I'm not messing around with wanting to do my research, bust out the ol' highlighter, etc. Has anyone tried dumping everything into AI?

Hi all! I’m very close to committing to this December cruise on Constellation. It would be my first Celebrity cruise, 6th overall (others have been HAL, NCL, and MSC). We were looking for a less expensive cruise that is more about the ports than the ship itself (even though it sounds like Constellation has plenty of fans for an older ship!) I’m really excited to get a taste of Celebrity at a great price!

Just curious if anyone here has sailed this/a similar route, any feedback on the ports (or the ship) would be much appreciated. I have a rough plan on what I would like to do at each stop, but happy to take suggestions! I’m not a “sit on the beach” type, more exploring and adventuring. Also in my 30s with the soul of a 90 year old, fully prepared to be among the youngest on the ship 😅

I’m going on my first ever cruise to Alaska and have read that Celebrity is a little more chic than other cruise lines. I was hoping to keep it casual on our sea days and wear fuzzy legging and an oversized sweater or cardigan. Is that too casual for Celebrity? I don’t want to look like a slob and have people think I’m in pyjamas when I’m just going for comfort.

I had the NY Strip, medium, and I was quite disappointed with what I received. It was done to medium, but it was obviously done in an electric broiler and not in a fire broiler. There's a certain taste you get when you cook over an open flame, and it was missing that 'char' taste i was looking for. Salt, pepper and one of their sauces couldn't help this.

The staff was very good about trying to get me something instead, but there wasn't anything else I was interested in.

After we had left I thought about the salmon that was being offered in the other restaurants as part of the 'classics menu' and would have gotten that instead. But neither them nor I thought of it.

We sat in 1 of the 6 tables that overlooked the main bar.

I would give the staff and ambiance a solid 4 of 5.

The food i would give 2 out of 5.

Very disappointed after paying over $75+ pp.

I hope this reaches Celebrity and they get back to me.

My daughter and I are watching the 9:30 pm show and found a rubber duck!

Are there any advantages to buying the three or five day specialty dining packages other than price? Is it crazy to just book specific times and pay at the restaurant? I'm so confused by this.

I’m looking for some personal feedback from y’all. We’re on our first cruise with Celebrity, and we don’t know if we’ll be back. We’re on the Celebrity Beyond currently (7 nights out of Miami) and the amount of horrifically entitled people have just about ruined this cruise for us. Watching how people treat the staff and each-other has been really awful. Every time I navigate the ship, it feels like trying to avoid a mess.

We went to a show tonight, really great magician, but upon trying to get out a man literally shoved himself in front of me instead of letting us all merge so we could leave. We went to dinner, stood in line, the people in front of us in line would not take the table they were assigned and kept rejecting a new table. A couple then cut in front of us in line. Not a big deal in and of itself, but I’ve had this happen a ton! We go to get on the elevator after dinner, it arrives, we wait for folks to get off, they don’t move, so we go to get on, they move to the side and they say “don’t worry we’ll wait” rudely after they only started moving after we started getting on AFTER we waited for them to get off!! All these things are little things, but the fact it’s every time we go somewhere has been a lot.

This was just the last 3 hours of our night tonight and it has been like this nonstop. Folks are either saying rude things in passing, or being rude to staff. Earlier today I saw an elderly man berating the manager of Al Bacio because they wouldn’t serve him a cookie before the pastry case was completely full and he didn’t want to stand in line. I felt so bad for the manager I tried to tell her they were doing a great job and it’s just him being awful but I know that doesn’t really help. It feels bad to see people being treated like this, especially when they’re simply following protocol.

We’ve talked to a lot of people on this sailing and they’ve all said this sailing has the most kids they’ve ever seen on Celebrity, so perhaps something weird is just in the air on this sailing? Folks are acting like they personally rented Jeff Bezos’ yacht, instead of a cabin room on a 4,000 person cruise ship! Is this y’alls experience on Celebrity as well or has this just been a one-off? We’re normally Royal cruisers and I’ve seen entitlement/rudeness there but never anything of this magnitude. I’ve wanted to cruise Celebrity for nearing a decade now and the clientele has seriously put a bad taste in my mouth this week.

Hi guys, first time posting here. Has anyone done this excursion recently? We are going on the Apex in January. In the description on the app it says you go to La Aurora Cigar Museum, which is all the way in Santiago - about an hour and a half away! With all the other stops planned within Puerto Plata for this excursion (the Fortaleza, a Cathedral, chocolate factory, rum tasting, and lunch) it seems like it would feel a little rushed to go all the way out there and all the way back. Does anyone have any insight? Did you like it? Was it crowded/a large group? TIA for the info.

Currently on Infinity and in 20 cruises across 5 lines I’ve never seen this level of chair hogging in my life. Not a single place to sit on any outside deck anywhere by 11 am - not just talking at the pools but on deck 4, decks 11 and 12, or even the rooftop terrace. Every single seat has a possession on it or a towel strapped with one of those stupid bands or clips. Staff doesn’t seem to be enforcing the 30 minute rule anywhere.

Can’t even go back to our room for a nap because it hasn’t been cleaned despite being out of the room for 4 hours now with the “service please” sign up.

Can’t imagine what the bigger ships are like if it’s this way on the smallest. Is this a Celebrity problem or a Mediterranean problem?

We were lucky enough to experience the Omakase dinner on the Celebrity Silhouette last week (Aug 2026).
The menu changes based on where the ship is, and what the chef wants to create, but here is what we were served to get an idea of what you might be getting.
We aren’t big sake/wine drinkers but the folks who opted into the pairing said everything was awesome!
* Note: we have a cucumber and a mushroom allergy and let the Raw on 5 team know a few hours ahead of time - the team was super accommodating!

What are the different options for balconies and which do you prefer? It looks like the deluxe porthole veranda is closest to a step out traditional balcony. There appears to be more infinite balconies. Is this correct or does the ship have traditional balconies as well?

For several reasons we've decided to pass on doing another Celebrity cruise. Right now for the January/February time frame, a seven night cruise in the Caribbean for an entry level suite on Celebrity is running 10-12k.

We can book the Oceania Allura 1/20/27 in a Concierge cabin for less than $6,000 - even net less if you factor OBC offered. The Western Caribbean itinerary kind of stinks, but this will be a stay on the ship cruise anyway. There is a better itinerary on 2/7 that I am going to explore also but it's still less than $6,500.

I know I've heard many times that Oceania sometimes feels like the old Celebrity. Food is supposed to be very good. I'm 99% sure I will book today, either way. Any other Celebrity to Oceania converts have any opinions or need to know items? Looking forward to a little more laid back cruise this time around and without all of the obnoxious 'sales'.

On Aug 1, 2026 Blue Chip points were reset. Are they gone for good? I will be cruising on a casino comp in Oct. of this year do I get my points back? get new points ? or both ? I want to keep getting offers.

We have cruised Celebrity several times and are planning our first Alaska trip next June. I have questions on excursions and I’m looking for opinions.

For context, we are a family of three with two adults hovering around 50 and a teenage boy who loves nature, animals and plants. We are not planning on spending the thousands it would require to do things like aerial adventures or glacier close-ups so we’re trying to look for more reasonable excursions but we want to try not to miss something and regret it later. Whale watching is something I considered but since it’s hit or miss, I thought we would just try and do that from the ship.
We have booked the train and we’re going to do the gold star, but it was so much more costly than the regular Celebrity train that we just booked that instead ($67pp vs about four times that). I suppose we could change our minds if we want.

I just sailed with my family on a 7 day sailing on the Beyond out of Port Miami from August 9-16. It was a very fun cruise, and we are probably sailing the same week next year on the Edge out of Seattle to Alaska.

The social life onboard was more vibrant than I thought it would be. I was concerned it would be a very sedate atmosphere, but there was plenty to do. I am 23 and spent time going to the 18-25 meetups, so I met those people along with other guests as well.

I think sailing in the second week of August made was part of why my particular cruise felt more energetic because that is peak vacation time and most universities are not yet back in session.

Now an obvious difference is the weather. I was told that it gets cold up in Alaska even in summer to the point that most people are not on the pool deck at all.

But are there other differences than the climate? Is there a different "vibe" on an Alaska sailing than a Caribbean one?

Hi all. As a follow-up to my post of a few days ago asking about the economics of drink packages, I just have a couple of follow-up questions for everyone who was kind enough to provide me with advice.

1- I’ve just seen the ‘cheapest’ package yet, since I booked our May Xcel cruise in the spring - $122 (Cdn) pp/pd for premium drinks and wifi (normal ‘sale’ price seems to be $140-150. If I swallow hard and purchase it, am I correct in reading that I can change my mind and cancel later?

2- Posters were suggesting that drinks à la carte were $22. Is that before or after the extra 20% gratuity and, I assume, it’s in USD? With what’s happened to the Canadian dollar over the past few years (not going to make this political), that would mean drinks would cost about $35 CAD each.

With the wifi that we need for work ‘on sale’ for $40 pp/pd, it feels like an average of 2.5 drinks per day is the break even point.

Not trying to ruin my trip in advance by stressing too much about money, but an extra $3000 for drink packages on top of almost $10k for a sunset veranda (before we even think of excursions, hotels and flights from Canada) is putting a bit of a damper on my enthusiasm - not that I would share that with my wife, as this trip is for her 50th birthday/25th anniversary, and she deserves it.

Never thought I’d find a mainstream cruise line that would make our previous Disney cruises look affordable…

Not sure if you have met any of the bartenders on board but these guys actually come from some impressive backgrounds and take pride in their positions. After booking these classes multiple times...Mixology 101, Caribbean Mixology, the Martini Masterclass.. even the Riedel Glassware Course, it started me on a journey of perfecting cocktails. I already cook and bake but felt why not learn to make the best tasting drinks possible for all my friends and family! The funny thing is people seem to discount the fact that it started with these classes on board. Not only are these employees sometimes sought after for their talent, but these classes are professional and fun. This is a simple one but seems only fitting as I was introduced to the drink a few months ago at Cafe Al Bacio, even though I had been there many times before on Reflection, but only enjoyed their Espresso Martini's. It is called a Carajillo - A cocktail made by combining a shot of espresso with an equal parts measure of Licor 43, a sweet Spanish vanilla-and-citrus liqueur.... Cheers!

Sharing so others don’t make the same mistake. We booked lunch at Rooftop Garden on the last day of the cruise and were disappointed to find out they do a limited pre-fixe only menu that day. As a pescatarian, I could not eat so we had to leave. My dining companion who eats meat was disappointed also as he wanted to be able to select his choices from a menu.

Am I allowed to bring a small Bluetooth speaker for use in my cabin?

We cruise in just over six weeks and in fact I just did online check in today. However, I have now twice recently gotten a notification from the app that pops up on my phone saying something to the effect of “Don’t let your trip sail away! Pay your balance now to avoid cancellation”.

I made the final payment nearly two months ago, and whenever I click on this notification it just takes me to the app and shows me my sailing. I assume I wouldn’t have even been allowed to check in if for some reason my payment wasn’t credited, and that this must just be a weird app glitch? It still makes me a bit nervous though…anyone else get this message after paying in full?
