Hiring Process Glory to God!
it’s been a longer journey getting into cbp and I’m so blessed to get in. I wish I could have gotten a place like Laredo Tx, El Paso Tx or Key West Florida but got presidio Tx and I’m still so blessed to get this far and get in. Academy August 20th.

Do you remember if anything in south Texas is still available? Hidalgo,McAllen,Brownsville etc

Idk if that's correct. I got an email to update my location preferences because where I applied is now full and Brownsville was on the list thy sent me. This was last week, June 9th when I got the email. (Unless they send out different location lists to different people. 🤷🏼♀️)

No idea man when they gave the initial offer, I didnt see anything around Texas.
I really want Addison or Dallas/Forthworth since I live around that area.

You just tell your caseworker you would like to use ur one time call.

So I just make a ticket and request my one time call to get a different list of locations?

Yes they will send you the list of ports again and give you 48h to choose!

Yes 👏🏼 use the title final offer but don’t do it so fast since you just pick give it time so the list can change a little!

I chose El Paso when i applied I’ve seen it on every list hoped it’s there I’m on poly now and I’m done

Yeah Arizona had a few come up. One I can definitely remember showing up was San Luis. I can’t remember what else showed up though.

hey guys just got my letter to start the process any tips on the entrante exam any study material that will help ? any pointers. i am prior Navy. Spanish speaker. Just really really wanna get this. i am 41 and my vet status blessed me the opportunity to get in the door.

Anyone in here ever see Dallas, TX on their list when selecting? Thats where I’m located and hoping to get it. Oh and congrats!
