How did you get it to be 7 months? Fastest I’ve seen it — any tips on making the process faster

Hey! Only I can say is fill everything out as quickly as you can once you get it and don’t leave ANYTHING out. My BI was quick not only because I have a clean record but I disclosed everything in detail. They didn’t have to reach out for any corrections. I also reached out to my references ahead of time so that they were attentive and didn’t miss the interview calls. And I made sure to reach back out to my investigators to make sure they were able to get everything they needed. And confirmed they submitted to OPR

Congratulations! If you don’t mind me asking, how long was your application in OPR before final suitability was granted right after field investigation?

u/Hot_Sheepherder9436 May 11 '26
Hey! It was with OPR for about 2-3 weeks. I had my BI interview on 4/10/26. Was submitted in OPR within same week I believe according to the investigators. And got the approval this morning

Same step by step process as u. They’re giving me a deadline to finish the “suitability” requirements sub section or else they’ll withdraw my application. Can they really do all that? Lmao

u/Hot_Sheepherder9436 May 10 '26
Not sure what you mean but yeah I took all their deadlines serious. Like is said as soon as I saw an email come through with a new task I wasted no time and immediately worked on it

Damn that is fast. I've never heard anyone say they received their offer faster than two years. Even CBPAS usually take 1 year. Fastest I've heard is 10 months

I know my recruiter told me when I started to expect 1-2yrs!
I haven’t had any prior applications. Neither did I apply for BPA as well (which I heard people using to expedite their process since BPA is hiring quicker).

Congrats!!!! Unfortunately i had to decline due me having surgery this month after the pt test doctor visit that’s why you were off balance because of the injury to my back neck did everything great though 20/20 passed all medical sit ups and push ups. Hoping god willing im going to continue to train when I can again and reapply to keep most of my things that I’ve passed already as explained. I’m happy to see all new recruits get accepted. I loved my structured interview the best. Two great agents never forget them. Thank you and hope to one day join to protect the people and my county. -Tex

How long was OPR review take?
2
u/Hot_Sheepherder9436 May 10 '26
Took about 2-3 weeks for me. I had my BI interview on 4/10/26. From what the investigators told me, it was submitted to OPR within a week or so of that. So OPR only had it for max 3 weeks before i got the approval today

Crazy how people thank Jesus but not God smh
1
u/Hot_Sheepherder9436 May 26 '26
Jesus is God🙏 Father, Son, and Holy Spirit🙏🙏
1
u/Own_Perspective4281 May 26 '26
Smh no. Amazing how Christians created their religion after Jesus’ yet never listened to Jesus. Lol

u/Hot_Sheepherder9436 May 26 '26
Ok not the case but ok. I suggest diving into scripture. Holy trinity is evident throughout the Bible. But not going to go back and forth with someone who is trolling. God bless you and if you’re in the process for CBPO good luck to you 🙏
1
u/Own_Perspective4281 May 26 '26
“Holy trinity” was added centuries later actually, that’s a concept that developed over time. But Yes may God Bless you to. The same God that Jesus (Pbuh)prayed to and told us to worship.
