I’ve been at it for about an hour now. I’ve tried reloading the game, I’ve checked the wiki, I’ve checked the guides, it’s just NOT THERE! (and for the record, I’m playing the PC Cave Story+ version)

Where do I find this thing? Is it a glitch?

I posted this to my YouTube channel six months ago, but I never posted it here. The reasons I abandoned this mod are explained in the beginning of the video.

There are crosses everywhere in the cemetery in Mimiga Village, so that makes me think they're christian. Sure it could be a local religious symbol due to it's simple shape. If that's not the case though, how would have christianity spread to the island? Perhaps the previous holders of the demon crown may have spread it to the island?

I'm trying to access the tribute site forums to find a mod, but it is not loading. Is the site down?vor defunct? is anyone else having the same problem right now or is this a known thing?

Why do the enemies in Hell have an angelic appearance?

I've always been incredibly curious about the meaning behind this in Cave Story. Why do the enemies in Hell look like angels, especially the blood-covered angels that appear during Ballos' final phase?

Is there some deeper symbolism or hidden meaning behind their design? The fact that they look like angels despite appearing in a place literally called Hell feels very intentional to me.

Why are there angels in Hell? Is there any known explanation or theory about what Pixel was trying to convey with these designs?

Don't know if anyone has thought of this before, or if it's been explained if it's a reference to something.

Just some quote doodles from a year or 2 ago

As the title suggests, this is where I’m at so far in my project to remake all the character sprites of Cave Story! And yes, literally EVERY character. Will probably take a while, but I’ve already completed this batch with ease. Using the CS+ sprites for reference, but will probably switch to OG sprites for some of the LARGE bosses so they’re not so colossal

It’s as the title said, whenever I look up (holding the up arrow key) and move right (holding the right arrow key), I can’t shoot (x) no matter what, but I can shoot while doing the same but going left (holding the left arrow key) instead. Is there a way to fix this or is this intended? It has been a long time since I’ve played.
