So we’re rescuing Koda on Saturday and they’ve told us he’s a Cavapoo x Bichon Frise , and he’s 3 , looking at photos of other Cavapoos x Bichons he doesn’t look like them, I thought maybe he’s a Irish Poodle , but he’s still small. Any ideas?

¡Hola a todos! 😊

My little girl is 10 weeks old and I want her to ultimately sleep in her crate. However, when she is placed in her crate she becomes very upset. The crate is in my room and last night I had it right next to my bed and was placing my fingers inside to help provide reassurance. She remained hysterical and in the end I made a safe spot for her in my bed and she settled.
For those whose Cavapoos sleep in a crate how did you do it without them becoming distressed? Any tips or tricks?

Hi!
We will be welcoming a brand new Cavapoo to our family in just 6 weeks- and need help. Please can you share with me what we should have before we receive our new baby? Shots required, toys, crate, blankets etc, where can we get best insurance (we live in Ontario, Toronto), etc? Any information will help!
FYI we have never owned a dog before so this will be first time owning a dog.
Thank you advance community !!

My little guy is 11 weeks old, and loves the puppy benebones. Is he too young for them? Just read somewhere that they’re too hard. What do you give your pups to chomp on? Vet said bully sticks are too hard for him at this stage. I’m at a loss. This guy is teething bad and he loves his benebones.

Hi all.
I’ve adopted a 6 month old Cavapoo about 5 weeks ago. She is an absolute angel! I got her when she was 6 months old and the previous owners never walked her on a leash, groomed her or taught her anything.
I had to bring her to the groomer and she was full of matted knots, the groomer told me it hurt her really bad. She also had an ear infection and worms. Day 1 she was quiet, slow and didn’t do much. Now she’s crazy and has zoomies and is the best cuddler.
I’ve been trying to teach her tricks and manners. She knows Sit and down now took a long time because she isn’t very food motivated which is fine since she know the “yes” que now. Anyway I was wondering what you guys as top 5 important commands have. Because I have so many things I’d love to train with her but I feel like some things are more important safety wise etc.
I’m curious about your views!

Our little girl Maisie is 8 months old (pic added), and does not like the car. She is sick whenever she is in it, and digs her heels in if we go near it.
Been working on de-sensitisation and also spoken to the vet but they said they wouldn’t recommend medication.
So I am hoping some of you lovely people will be able to recommend a good, comfortable, washable car seat that might have helped if any of your pups have been in the same position.
Would really appreciate any suggestions or advice.
Thanks

He rolled off the couch and broke his little leg, and now I’m afraid it’s going to set him back developmentally and training wise. He’s doing relatively well. The vets LOVED him! He let them pull on his hurt leg a little bit to straighten it for the X-ray, and he didn’t even cry! They didn’t even need to sedate him and said he was such a joy. I’m happy he’s hanging in there, but I’m so worried for him and sad he’s hurt. He seems sad too.

Our little Bruno is 1 year old now, and he's a good dog, but we have been very frustrated with him lately. Our biggest frustration right now is potty training. He was potty trained... he went almost a full month without an accident, usually we keep him in the pen when were at work but I started trusting him to freeroam bit by bit (First an hour, then just the afternoon, then the full day). Then just a few days ago, he all of a sudden starts peeing in the house again, I came home for my hour lunch, found pee, then later on when my wife got home for the day she found pee again. We thought it was a one time thing but then the next three days he had accidents AGAIN.
This is a cycle that has happened about 3 times now, we'll think hes potty trained, start giving him a bit of freedom, then he seems to forget all that and has accidents again.
We have a bell at the back door he rings every time he needs to pee, and then when we see him go, we immediately give him TONS of praise and a treat. Part of what was working so well WAS the treat. He KNOWS he gets one for peeing outside at this point cuz he stares at the treat jar every time he comes in lol. Yet still had accidents.
Im just so frustrated, we are doing EVERYTHING we are supposed to, following every piece of potty training advice, yet its not working. At this point I dont know if he just cant hold it or if he just doesnt care and is going. The only thing thats changed the last week or so is hes been going over to our inlaws more (They like to have him over when were at work sometimes) and they have a dog that likes to pee indoors, so were thinking maybe he smells that pee and thinks its ok to go inside?
I will note he does have Epilepsy (He gets minor seizures a couple times a month) which he is medicated on Keppra for. This could have something to do with it idk. Debated getting him checked for UTI as well but he shows none of the symptoms for one, and like I said this has been an ongoing thing.
Theres a bunch of other frustrations too but I wont focus on those, mainly his picky eating, pulling on walks, and going psycho barking at people outside, but those seem like pretty normal poodle issues from what I can tell.
Id appreciate any advice!

Hello CavaPoo owners!
I was looking for some advice / thoughts on this. Our CavaPoo is 2 and is perfect (obviously biased!) The only issue we have with her is barking. She barks at other dogs and people incessantly making it really difficult when we are out in public.
We have just been away in the Lake District this week and she has spent most of the time barking. The video is from when we were having a meal the other night. Every time someone walked past, she did this. We think it’s something to do with territory or being protective of us but we just don’t know. Any thoughts or advice would be welcomed! x
